Best Pizza in the Energy Corridor: 8 Pizzerias by Style

Date Published

Pizza Energy Corridor illustration: brick pizza oven, pie with a lifted slice and office towers

The best pizza in the Energy Corridor is New York style: DaddyO's Pizza on Dairy Ashford Road, Brother's Pizzeria on Highway 6 North and Russo's New York Pizzeria on Briar Forest Drive are the three to know first. Beyond those, the Energy Corridor in west Houston has pizza and momos at Paneer & Peppers and Latin-inspired pies at Pizza Patrón, both on Eldridge Parkway, plus a build-your-own shop and two late-night delivery options.

The Energy Corridor runs on two fuels: oil and gas by day, New York slices by night. This guide sorts all eight pizzerias by style, so you can pick the right one for an office lunch, a Friday family night or a 10 p.m. delivery.

Where the Energy Corridor is, for this guide. The Energy Corridor District describes itself as more than 2,000 acres stretching along Interstate 10 from Kirkwood Road to west of Barker Cypress Road, with an arm that extends south along Eldridge Parkway to south of Briar Forest Drive. We used that footprint, plus the neighborhoods directly around it between Kirkwood Road and Highway 6, north of Westheimer Road. Every pick sits inside that area. For the bigger picture, start with our Energy Corridor area guide.

How we chose

We picked pizzerias with a physical address inside the boundaries above and something specific worth ordering. Each one was confirmed as operating on its own official website, official ordering page or official social account in November 2026. The Energy Corridor District's own dining guide lists Brother's, Russo's and Hi Pizza, which helped us check the map.

Hours change, so treat every schedule here as typical and check the restaurant's site before you go. Where a pizzeria doesn't post hours online, we say so.

New York style

New York pizza is the Energy Corridor's house style: three of the eight picks make thin, foldable pies with a charred edge.

DaddyO's Pizza (Dairy Ashford)

861 Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77079 · typically Sun–Thu 11am–9pm, Fri–Sat 11am–10pm

DaddyO's Pizza on Dairy Ashford Road is the Energy Corridor's most careful New York pie. The restaurant says its dough ferments for more than 36 hours, its mozzarella is whole milk and hand-shredded, and every pie is charred in an Italian brick oven. It has been family-owned since 1995, according to the restaurant, and the menu is named like a subway map: Bronx Bomber, Queens Meat Lovers, Little Italy, Fifth Ave and Manhattan.

What to order: the Margherita, to taste the long-fermented crust on its own, then the Bronx Bomber if you're feeding a group.

Why it's here: a strip-center pizzeria that takes dough seriously, a few minutes from the Dairy Ashford exit on I-10.

Brother's Pizzeria (Highway 6)

1029 Highway 6 North, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77079 · typically Mon–Sat 11am–10pm, closed Sunday

Brother's Pizzeria on Highway 6 North is the Energy Corridor's slice shop. The pizzeria says it has served Houston "a little taste of the Big Apple" since 1980, and it sells New York slices individually, from plain cheese to a loaded Brother's Special. That makes it the easiest office lunch in the district: walk in, order two slices, be back at your desk.

The Brother's Special is the house pie, sold whole or by the slice. There are also calzones, stromboli, baked ziti and lasagna, plus beer and wine and TVs for game nights.

What to order: a cheese slice and a Brother's Special slice at lunch, or a whole Special on a Saturday.

Good to know: Brother's is closed on Sundays, so plan your weekend pizza night for Friday or Saturday.

Russo's New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen (Briar Forest)

13346 Briar Forest Dr, Suite 100, Houston, TX 77077 · typically open daily 11am–9:30pm

Russo's New York Pizzeria on Briar Forest Drive covers the most ground on this list: round New York pies, Brooklyn-style square pizzas, oversized slices and a full Italian kitchen. The company traces its story to 1978, when the founder's father opened an Italian restaurant in Galveston, and today it lists more than 50 locations.

The flex move is the 28-inch Giant Brooklyn-Style Cheese Pizza on the menu, the kind of pie that ends a team meeting early. On the more grown-up side, look for the Old World Pepperoni with cup-and-char pepperoni, a Prosciutto & Fig pie and a Grandma's Pie in the square section.

What to order: the Old World Pepperoni, or a Brooklyn square if your table splits slices.

Why it's here: it's the most flexible pick for a mixed group. Russo's says it offers gluten-free pizza and pasta, vegan options and halal options (including a Halal Veggie Pepperoni pie), and it runs daily lunch specials. For more ideas, see our halal restaurants guide.

Pizza and momos

Paneer & Peppers (Eldridge Parkway)

1460 Eldridge Pkwy, Suite 110, Houston, TX 77077 · hours not posted on its official pages; check the delivery apps or call ahead

Paneer & Peppers on Eldridge Parkway is the Energy Corridor's South Asian-leaning pizza shop. Its official Instagram describes the menu as pizza, momos and wings, with dine-in, takeout and delivery, so you can order Himalayan-style dumplings alongside your pie. The name nods to paneer, the fresh South Asian cheese that holds its shape in a hot oven instead of melting.

What to order: a pizza and a plate of momos to share; check the online menu for the paneer options the shop is named for.

Why it's here: it is the most unusual pizza stop on this list, with dumplings on the side. If your crew loves Indian food, our best Indian restaurants in Houston guide has more.

Latin-inspired

Pizza Patrón (Eldridge)

2522 Eldridge Pkwy S, Houston, TX 77082 · hours not shown on its Houston page; check the online ordering page

Pizza Patrón on Eldridge Parkway builds pizza around Latin flavors: carne asada, chorizo, jalapeños, poblano peppers, cilantro and Chihuahua cheese. The chain says the idea dates to 1986, and that its dough is rolled fresh in-house every day and cold-proofed for 12 hours rather than shipped frozen.

Here's the "I didn't know that" moment: Pizza Patrón's Maíz crust is a corn-and-flour dough, and the company says you won't find it anywhere else. Pair it with the Choriqueso (Chihuahua cheese, chorizo and spicy crema) for the most Houston pizza in the Energy Corridor.

What to order: the Choriqueso or the Carne Asada on Maíz crust.

Good to know: this is the southernmost pick, at the bottom of the Eldridge Parkway arm.

Build your own

Hi Pizza (Eldridge Parkway)

1127 Eldridge Pkwy, Suite 450, Houston, TX 77077 · hours not posted on its website; order through its app or call (281) 809-5591

Hi Pizza on Eldridge Parkway, south of the Enclave Parkway intersection, is a handcrafted pizza shop built around custom pies. Its owners say they bring more than 20 years of restaurant experience specializing in health and nutritional value, and the menu centers on custom builds, a signature sauce and the dietary needs of each guest.

What to order: build your own around the signature sauce, or ask for one of the house's suggested recipes.

Why it's here: an independent pizzeria on the Eldridge Parkway office strip, and a good fit for picky eaters and anyone ordering around a diet.

Late-night delivery

If you need pizza after 10 p.m. in the Energy Corridor, the two chains below post the latest hours on this list.

Marco's Pizza (South Dairy Ashford)

1315 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077 · typically Sun–Thu 10:30am–11pm, Fri–Sat 10:30am–midnight

Marco's Pizza on South Dairy Ashford offers dine-in, carryout, curbside pickup and delivery, according to its store page. It's the practical pick for a weeknight when DaddyO's and Russo's have closed.

Domino's (Memorial Drive)

14520-J Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77079 · typically Sun–Thu 10am–midnight, Fri–Sat 10am–1am

Domino's on Memorial Drive, near Memorial Drive and Eldridge Parkway, keeps the latest hours of any pick on this list, with delivery and carryout until 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
