- Best Happy Hours in Conroe, TX: 9 Deals From Official Menus
The best happy hours in Conroe, Texas, are spread between historic downtown Conroe, the North Frazier Street corridor and the I-45 frontage road. The standouts are the all-day Thursday happy hour at Pacific Yard House on Metcalf Street, $4 house-beer drafts at B-52 Brewing Co. on Milroy Lane, and 11 a.m. starts at Woody's Hideaway on West Dallas Street and Rancho Grande on North Frazier. Every deal below comes from the venue's own website or menu.
Here's the line to remember: in Conroe, happy hour can start before lunch, and downtown it can last all of Thursday.
Happy hour deals change more often than almost anything else on a menu. Treat every time and price below as "typically," check the official site the day you go, and call if an exact price matters.
What counts as Conroe in this guide?
For this guide, Conroe means a venue with a Conroe street address in the 77301, 77303 or 77304 zip codes: the downtown square around Main, Simonton and Metcalf streets, North Frazier Street, West Dallas Street, Loop 336, Milroy Lane and the I-45 corridor between Loop 336 and League Line Road.
Lakefront bars on Lake Conroe with Montgomery or Willis addresses, and anything in The Woodlands or Shenandoah, sit outside this list. For those, see our Lake Conroe weekend guide and our best happy hours in The Woodlands.
How we chose
We kept only venues whose own website or official menu, checked in October 2026, showed a Conroe address, current hours and a happy hour. We favored places that post a named time window and real prices over vague "ask about our specials" language. Places with a happy hour that we could only find in news stories or review sites were left out, even well-known ones; they're listed in our notes for a future update.
The result is nine picks: four local independents and five chains with a Conroe location.
Downtown Conroe
Pacific Yard House
Downtown Conroe, 101 Metcalf St · bar, kitchen and live-music stage · happy hour all day Thursday
Pacific Yard House in downtown Conroe runs its happy hour every Thursday from open to close, with deals on draft beer, mules and cocktails, according to its website. The building is the draw too: the bar says it's built on 1907 bones, and it advertises 30-plus beers on tap.
What to do: Thursday is the deal night, but the bar's calendar adds Texas artists on Tuesdays and trivia on Wednesdays. The bar sits steps from downtown's Owen, Crighton and Players theatres, so it works before a show.
Why it's here: it's the only all-day happy hour we found in Conroe.
North Frazier and West Dallas
Woody's Hideaway
West Dallas Street, 1128 W Dallas St · pool hall and bar, 21+ · happy hour Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Why it's here: the best weekday-afternoon deal for groups who want to do something besides sit.

North Frazier Street, 2207 N Frazier St · Tex-Mex and La Cantina bar · happy hour 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Rancho Grande, a family-owned restaurant whose website says "Since 1991," lists happy hour from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on its La Cantina menu. The deals, as printed on the official cantina menu: a 10-ounce Cowboy Rita Lime for $5.75, a 20-ounce Jumbo Rita Lime for $10.50, imported beer for $5.50 and domestic beer for $4.50.
What to order: the 10-ounce Cowboy Rita, which is $8 at regular price on the same menu. Pair it with a plate from our Mexican and Tex-Mex in Conroe guide.
Why it's here: the longest happy hour window on this list, at a family-owned Conroe original. The menu doesn't say which days it applies, so ask your server.

B-52 Brewing Co.
West Conroe, 12470 Milroy Ln · brewery, taproom and wood-fired kitchen · happy hour Wednesday to Friday

What to do: stay for the weekly lineup on the brewery's calendar: music bingo on Wednesdays, trivia on Thursdays and steak night on Fridays. The taproom is typically closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Why it's here: an easy, cheap way to drink beer brewed in Conroe, with a wood-fired pizza kitchen behind it. For more breweries, see our best breweries in Houston.

Applebee's on I-45 North has been open since September 18, 2006, and its location page says happy hour generally runs 3 to 6 p.m., weekdays and weekends. The page doesn't post prices, so call ahead for the current specials.
Why it's here: it's typically open until 2 a.m. every night, which makes it the late-night fallback after everything downtown closes.
Not a happy hour, but still a deal
Fass Brewing in the historic Gentry Building downtown, which the brewery describes as the oldest building in downtown Conroe (built in 1911), has two worth knowing. On the first Sunday of the month, bring a vinyl record, play a side, and your first beer is free. At Tuesday trivia, competitors get discounted beer.
Southern Star Brewing Company on North Frazier, which says it was the first brewery in Texas to can craft beer, doesn't post a happy hour, but its taproom and biergarten, on more than 13 wooded acres, are typically open Friday to Sunday.
