One of their workers were shaking their head at a patron inside of an Upper Kirby gas station. He also, blatantly cut me in line. What a way to represent a business.

Taylor Waterproofing is hands down the best company for basement waterproofing in Houston. We recently built a massive 40-foot wide below-grade concrete structure foundation that went 50 feet underground. The groundwater conditions were extremely difficult, some of the worst I’ve seen. It took the dewatering team 4 months to get the ground water under control. For context, even a “hard” job will usually take 2 weeks to move enough water out of the ground so work can start. At this job, we had literally tapped into an underground spring of water in the hole. Eventually, the water was controlled just barely enough so we could pour concrete. After pouring concrete, the dewatering system was stopped. Somehow, a tiny bit of water was still managing to get between the concrete seams even though we had used an industry leading waterstop. This was enough to be a problem because the structure needed to be completely dry before other contractors could do their work. Finding the right waterproofing contractor was a priority for us at this point. We called on a few companies, and a few turned down the job because of the complexity. Only Taylor had the know-how, the experience and the equipment to take on a job of this magnitude. The concrete walls were 2-feet thick on the sides and there was a 4-foot thick concrete floor, and yet water was managing to break through. Taylor Waterproofing drilled through the 4’ layer of concrete to do what’s called a polyurethane injection waterproofing repair on the “blind” side that stopped the water from seeping in. This job was a high-profile project for a very important client and we knew we needed a solid solution given the extremely difficult circumstances. If you got a small basement leak on a typically 8 or 10-foot deep basement that leaks when it rains, I’m sure they can handle it after seeing what they did on my job. I’d highly recommend them to anyone dealing with basement leaks, foundation waterproofing or structural waterproofing. See before and after pictures below and notice how dry the after pictures look.
