Dishonest process led by Heather Trocmet and Crystal Jones. I had a recent experience dealing with redfin as they represented the buyers and I the seller with our own external agent. Their approach to the sale was shady and did not honor the openness and willingness we presented. We negotiated the price and went into contract. The buyers requested an unusual number of documents (not required by contract) and some irrelevant to present day which we provided in good faith. The deal fell through after a huge discount was requested with no supporting evidence whatsoever. The agent’s arguments were inflammatory, generic and unrealistic. I get buyers want to get the best bang for their buck, but real estate agents should advise how to behave and honor the process to ensure respect and fairness for all involved. It’s a shame that we had such bad experience and agencies like redfin promoted or allow this kind of behavior.

By far the worst company to work for Billions of unnecessary emails and money spent just to do showings! They treat you like you're not a real estate agent with a license. You can't do anything but show a house to an agents client and only get $35 dollars!. I have been an agent almost 20 years. You can't use your license to do anything else as an aa but show houses but the real estate agent gets paid! You can't sell nothing to family, friends etc . This is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with and the process is even worst.

We went through Redfin to both sell and buy our home. We worked with Heather Trocmet and she was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable and helped us get our house ready to sell as well as choose a new house that checked our boxes. Her advice through the whole process was invaluable! She also did a great job getting back to us quickly and keeping us updated on both the selling and buying processes. And we were very happy with the value we got with Redfin overall. We have already recommended Heather to two of our friends and would happily work with her again!

We recently bought a house that Redfin owned. After the inspections were done there were a few things that the seller (Redfin) agreed to repair/fix before closing per our contract. We move in and notice two sprinklers that redfin was supposed to fix are not working. We call redfin (spoke with Steve Owen, the agent on our listing) and he stated there is nothing they can do since we closed already and offered zero help. Then within a month of moving in our AC goes out. This was also in the contract for them to repair and we feel as though a patch job was done to get them through closing. Extremely shady company and I would never go through them again. If you do buy a house through them, have a professional ensure that the repairs are done correctly. We are now stuck with multiple big bills after closing on a house that were things that were supposed to be taken care of.

Alicia Grifaldo, a redfin agent has possibly the worst customer service skills I've ever encountered, especially for a real estate agent. My very first interaction with her was wildly unprofessional and would never work with an agent that treat's a client that's looking to purchase a home. After that first interaction I knew it would be a bad business decision to make. Edit: started working with Stephanie Warren and it completely made the experience much better, Stephanie is transparent and is honest which you can respect. Stephanie Warren: 5 stars.
