- Best Happy Hours in Tomball, TX: 8 Deals From Old Town to 249
The best happy hours in Tomball, TX are split between Old Town, where Graze, BonFire Grill, Tomball Social Haus and The Empty Glass sit within a few blocks of Main Street, and the State Highway 249 and FM 2920 corridor, where Little Woodrow's, Lupe Tortilla, Top Sushi and Chili's run weekday deals. Every happy hour below was checked on the venue's own website in November 2026.
Here's the part most people miss: in Tomball there is a posted happy hour on every day of the week, Sunday included, if you know which door to walk through. Our day-by-day list at the bottom shows you where.
The quick list
- Cheapest pour: Little Woodrow's, with $3 wells and $3 select drafts on weekdays.
- Best cocktails: Graze in Old Town, with happy hour pricing on its hand-spun cocktails.
- Best happy hour food: BonFire Grill, with brick-oven pizzas and bites on its happy hour menu.
- Earliest Friday start: Tomball Social Haus, from 2 p.m. on Fridays.
- Best weekend option: Top Sushi, with happy hour on Saturdays and all day on Sundays.
- Best for wine: The Empty Glass, with a Sunday Funday of live music and happy hour.
How we chose, and where Tomball ends
We only included a happy hour if the venue publishes it on its own official website, with days and times, and if the site showed the business operating in November 2026. Places that may well run a happy hour but don't post one online, or only post it inside an image we couldn't read, were left out. Deals and prices change often, so treat every one below as "typically" and check the venue's site before you go.
How we define Tomball: every pick has a Tomball mailing address (ZIP 77375 or 77377) on its own site. That covers Old Town and the City of Tomball, plus the unincorporated stretch of SH 249 (Tomball Parkway) and FM 2920 that shares the Tomball address. Tomball Parkway keeps its name deep into northwest Houston, so we left out venues on the parkway whose sites give a Houston address, along with anything in Spring, Cypress, Magnolia or The Woodlands. For more on the town itself, see our Tomball area page.
Old Town Tomball happy hours
Old Town Tomball is the place for a happy hour you can walk: Graze, BonFire Grill, Tomball Social Haus and The Empty Glass are all in the historic district around Main, Elm, Fannin and Market streets.
Graze
Old Town, 208 N. Elm St. · Tuesday to Friday, 3 to 5:30 p.m.
Graze, the international comfort-food restaurant on North Elm Street in Old Town Tomball, typically runs happy hour Tuesday through Friday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Its happy hour menu lists $6 drafts and special pricing on wines and hand-spun cocktails, and the smaller-plate "Nosh" list beside it includes blackened shrimp and foie gras meatballs.
Order: a happy hour cocktail and the foie gras meatballs. Graze recommends reservations, which helps on Fridays.
I didn't know that: Graze's menus page carries a short history of happy hour, which it traces to sailors aboard the USS Arkansas. Read it while you wait for your drink.
BonFire Grill
Old Town, 425 W. Main St. · Tuesday to Friday, 3 to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 3 to 4:30 p.m.
BonFire Grill, a brick-oven restaurant on West Main Street that has been in Tomball since 2016, posts the fullest happy hour food menu of any pick on this list. Its site lists $7 cocktails (a French 75, an old fashioned and a margarita among them), $5 wines by the glass and $6 rotating craft drafts. The happy hour bites include baked brie, Bonfire deviled eggs topped with house-smoked brisket, and a full set of brick-oven pizzas.
Insider tip: on Thursdays, BonFire's site says ladies get the happy hour drink menu all day. Happy hour items are dine-in only, with no substitutions, and free parking is behind the restaurant off Main Street. BonFire is closed on Mondays.
Best for: turning happy hour into dinner without paying dinner prices.
Tomball Social Haus
Old Town, 209 Fannin St. · Monday to Thursday, 4 to 7 p.m.; Friday, 2 to 5 p.m.
Tomball Social Haus, the cocktail bar in the black building with the bright red door on Fannin Street, calls itself the neighborhood's living room. Happy hour typically runs Monday through Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Fridays from 2 to 5 p.m., the earliest Friday start we found in Tomball.
Best for: a Monday happy hour, when Graze and BonFire Grill don't run theirs.
The Empty Glass
Old Town, 104 Market St. · Sunday Funday happy hour, noon to 6 p.m.
The Empty Glass is Tomball's wine bar, on the Historic Depot Plaza beside the old railroad depot, and it says it pours more than 130 wines. Its weekly events page lists a Sunday Funday with live music and happy hour from noon to 6 p.m. The bar is typically open Wednesday through Sunday and closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
Best for: a slow Sunday afternoon with a glass of Texas wine. Check the events page first, because the schedule is posted week by week.
Along SH 249 and FM 2920
The highway side of Tomball is where you'll find the big patios, the longest weekday windows and the chains with posted happy hour prices.
Little Woodrow's Tomball
Off SH 249, 11241 Timbertech Ln. · Monday to Friday, 3 to 7 p.m.
Little Woodrow's Tomball, the backyard-style sports bar on Timbertech Lane, has the longest weekday happy hour on this list: four hours, Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. Its site lists $3 wells, $3 select drafts and $4 select cocktails. Expect a patio bar, yard games, 30 to 50 TVs and Woody's Pizza on site.
Good to know: it's strictly 21 and up after 7 p.m., and anyone under 21 before then must be with a parent or guardian. Happy hour ends right when the age rule kicks in, so it works for an early family pizza stop.
Best for: watching a game with a cheap pint. More game-day picks are in our best sports bars in Houston.
Lupe Tortilla Northwest/Tomball

Lupe Tortilla's Northwest/Tomball restaurant on SH 249 is the Tex-Mex happy hour on this list, typically Monday through Friday from 3 to 6:30 p.m. The location page lists the times but not the deals, so ask your server what's included. If you're back on the weekend, the restaurant serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Best for: margaritas and fajitas after work. For more Tex-Mex, see our best Mexican restaurants in Tomball.
Top Sushi
Tomball Parkway, 24435 Tomball Pkwy., Suite 70 · Monday to Saturday, 4 to 7 p.m.; all day Sunday
Top Sushi on Tomball Parkway is the only place on this list with a happy hour every day of the week. Its site says dine-in guests get happy hour Monday through Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m., and all day on Sundays. The site doesn't list happy hour prices.
Order: the Truffle Salmon, one of the dishes the restaurant features on its site.
Best for: a Saturday or Sunday, when almost everyone else's happy hour is off.
Chili's Tomball
FM 2920, 14006 FM 2920 Rd. · Monday to Friday, 3 to 6 p.m.
Chili's on FM 2920 in Tomball is the most predictable deal in town, because its location page posts every price. Happy hour typically runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., with $3 16-ounce Bud Light, Miller Lite and Coors Light, $5 house red and white wine, a $6 Margarita of the Month and a $7 Tequila Classic Marg.
