They have extensive beer menu, they do have wines and ciders here. The price is great and be sure to bring cash also for the taco truck across the street. It is tradition to drink alcohol at West Alabama Ice House while eating tacos from Tacos Tierra Caliente. I am now a disable person and I find this place very not friendly to people with disability. It is still a great third space for people who live in this neighborhood come and hang out. They have a good amount of parking spot on site but sometime you have to park on the street, be careful on where you park. There are some nice sports game you can play here.

This place is legendary. It’s like stepping back in time (at least to the 70s) with those red ashtrays on every table. That said, there is plenty of room to spread out of the smoking bothers you. The recent renovation to the seating area is a big improvement without changing the character. Only beer and cider for sale (no cocktails). Also no food but you can (and should) get tacos from the taco truck next door and bring them in.

Great ice house to chill and drink beer and wine. Lots of TVs around to watch the games, a pool table to play, a basketball hoop to play, and much more. They have one of the best taco trucks across the street and a gyro food truck on the lot.

Great event at the Icehouse! Staff was at the ready and everything looked great! They didn't serve good themselves, but the event was the Montrose Beer and Got n Club event and was great. Music was wonderful. Rain was cooling but few people left since the band played on and food was still being served!

The west Alabama ice house is a staple, people paint it and it's survived hurricanes. Sports bar/dive bar/ hole in the wall. The taco truck across the road in front of Hollywood convenience store goes hand in hand with the Ice House. They get their tacos then walk in the bar for a few beers.
