We purchased our cabinets in March, 2025 and delivery was faster than anticipated. We purchased the all-plywood boxes with MDF doors, spending just over $30,000. However, because it was earlier than anticipated, we failed to open all the cabinets until we were ready to begin installation 8 weeks later. My review of the cabinets are as follows: 1. The finish on the cabinet doors was beautiful except one one door. 2. The box construction was disappointing to say the least. One box was cracked in multiple places. Another box was cracked completely through the face frame but painted over, causing the door to not close properly. On another cabinet, the box had large discolored dark spots. The majority of the boxed had cracks in the finish on the face frame at the wood joints in the corner. Another upper box had no peg holes for the shelves, and the face frame was visibly warped. Additionally, on several boxes, the finish was so thin you could see the wood through the finish. 3. We only had a couple issues with the drawers. One drawer bottom was cut too short, so there was a large gap in the back. Another drawer bottom was missing the veneer in a large area. 4. We ordered two spice racks, but the faceplates were installed too low and would not close when the light rail was installed. 5. The reveal on the face frame on the lower boxes was inconsistent across the box construction, so we had to plane down several cabinets in order for the end cap to fit on both cabinets. 6. We did contact customer support. They were helpful and excellent to work with in replacing the damaged boxes. However, when we received the replacement boxes, instead of plywood, they were MDF. 7. The delays because of cabinet damage cost us easily 6-8 weeks. 8. We contacted our kitchen designer at Home Depot, who sent out the cabinet rep for our area. He assured us that he would send someone for all the touch-up when it was completed. We reached out several times, both to him directly and through Home Depot but received no response. 9. This is our second full kitchen renovation. With our last renovation, we used another large, national kitchen cabinet maker and had no issues except a slight finish issue on one cabinet.

We ordered KraftMaid cabinets from Hoods St. Peter's and it was an absolute nightmare. We originally ordered them on 12/27/25 and were told to expect them in about 4 weeks. Well, that 4 weeks turned into 6.5 weeks. They were delivered on 2/10/26. The cabinets that were correct were gorgeous, don't get me wrong, they were. But there were SOOOO many issues. One cabinet had a HUGE scratch on the face frame. One cabinet had shelf holes starting at 7" from the bottom on one side and then 7.25" on the other. ( Makes from some really level shelves) We had two other cabinets that didn't even have shelf holes drilled on one side. Another cabinet with the wrong door swing and then one drawer that didn't come with the face frame attached. Didn't think that was a big deal until we realized it didn't have the installation hardware. (They weren't the type you screw from the back). Unfortunately we had already installed the uppers without the shelf holes on one side because we didn't notice until we went to install the shelves. Hoods told us they would get us some sort of reimbursement for all the problems and then never heard back. We reached out to KraftMaid online and told them issues and also asked why it was taking so long to get one upper cabinet replacement and end panels that were ordered wrong. They were not helpful and said even though the cabinet was damaged, it still going to take the normal processing time. There is no move to the front of the line for damaged cabinets. So we waited another 5 weeks for ONE CABINET! Everything was held up, painting, backsplash, etc. The best part was, we were only reimbursed $500 after arguing at Hood's after spending 14k on cabinets. KraftMaid and Hoods will never get our business again. * After KraftMaid left their response to email them about the issues, I sent them an email on May 24th. Been crickets since. It's now June 2nd.

Several years ago we purchased kitchen cabinets through Lowe’s. Our experience was 95% positive, the only negatives being communication challenges that were eventually resolved. Kraft Made cabinets are beautifully made, sturdy and functional. We are very happy with them and have received many compliments over the years.

I purchased the ginger maple all wood cabinets through Home Depot. They were well packaged and arrived as scheduled. The delivery team has good communication with me. There were some shipping damages which took another 3 weeks to receive. We had enough cabinets to get started. The installation was not as smooth and replacement cabinets were needed. Replacement took 3 weeks.The Home Depot changed the installers and I ended with a kitchen I love. I was grateful for the design help and the crown molding recommendations to complete the look.

AMAZING! That’s an understatement to not only the look of our cabinets but to Bryan McBride who went ABOVE and BEYOND for us! My wife and I took on a complete renovation of our kitchen. While shopping for cabinets we came across KraftMaid. We went with the Shaker Style in Dove White. We could not be any more happier with the results! The centerpiece of the kitchen is the vent hood which brings the whole kitchen together! The soft close drawers and the special design of the cabinet feet under the drop in stove bring such an elegant look and feel to our kitchen! Bryan even sent us extra touch up paint to have down the road for any incidents. Not only was the quality great but so was the price! I would highly recommend KraftMaid and Bryan with his superb customer service skills for all your future renovations!
