Staybridge Suites Iah Airport East

This was our first stay here and we loved it. The room was very clean, with a surprise balcony we had no idea was included. The complimentary breakfast, especially the yogurt bar and fresh coffee, was outstanding. The pool was clean & nice as well! The location was convenient with plenty of nearby stores and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only small downside was the pull out couch being a TWIN SIZE (this is not mentioned in details). It was tight for two adults.

I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at this location. I have stayed here multiple times in the past and it used to be one of my favorite properties, which is why this situation was especially frustrating. I had a confirmed reservation and am also a Diamond member, so I’ve always tried to remain loyal to the brand and this location in particular. Unfortunately, the experience I had with the front desk manager completely changed my perception. My reservation was canceled by the front desk manager, and I was given an explanation about my card being charged that simply did not add up. The story I was told about the way the card was processed and why the reservation was canceled seemed inconsistent and felt fabricated rather than transparent. As a frequent traveler and loyalty member, I’m very familiar with how hotel holds and charges typically work, which made the explanation even more concerning. What made this worse was the lack of accountability or willingness to resolve the situation professionally. Instead of trying to assist or find a solution, the issue was dismissed in a way that felt dismissive to a loyal guest. This location used to be one of my favorites, but after this experience and the level of customer service I received, I will unfortunately be escalating this matter to corporate for further review. Loyalty members expect a certain level of professionalism and transparency, and this interaction fell far short of that standard. It’s truly unfortunate because this property had always been a place I enjoyed staying at. I hope management takes situations like this seriously so that other guests don’t have to experience the same issue.

Came down for the World Baseball Classic in March and this was the perfect choice for our stay. It's right off the highway, which makes it super convenient. Ample parking, clean rooms, great breakfast options. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Very friendly service, too!

Great location near the airport, and just north of downtown making it a convenient drive. Walmart, academy, cvs, etc all just a few min away driving. Breakfast was good, Texas waffles are cute, only difficulty was the milk was by the coffee and my kid wanted cereal so we had to find it first then get through the group of people making coffee- an extra by the cereal would be helpful-minor inconvenience. My biggest complaint is walls are thin, we heard the kids screaming/yelling/playing in the room next door for awhile, I wasn't going to call to snitch to the front desk, they did eventually quiet down, but for light sleepers this may be an issue. Staff was nice, hotel was clean, we would probably go back if in the area.

Donald, Peter, Ronda, Debbie, and everyone that works here is amazing! Kind, respectful, resourceful, caring, and just great humans to be around! Donald is the GM at this location, and is a 5 time torch bearer award winner. Which is the highest award given in the IHG enterprise! The cleaning staff never touch your belongings! This hotel is more than a hotel! It’s Forsure Home from Home!
