I am giving the hotel a 4 rating because of the awesome, friendly, and dedicated staff. In particular, Kendra from Room service/cleaning. She was always very helpful and courteous, and quick to bring whatever we needed! She gets a 5, by herself! The front desk people and the breakfast staff were also very kind and adept to guest's requests. The room was satisfactory!

Probably the worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. As a previous reviewer mentioned, there was no hot water for the shower in the morning. Not even warm water, just straight cold water. This is completely unacceptable for a major hotel chain. There are plenty of 24hr plumbers available for emergency service (especially in a major city like Houston). When I inquired at the front desk about it, the employee just said, "I let my manager know about it". Well, is anybody doing anything about it? In addition, several lights in the room didn't work. Is it that difficult to replace a lightbulb? The breakfast was kind of a joke as well. I stayed for 2 nights, and each morning there was no milk for the cereal. I had to track down the employee, and ask her for more milk. Is it that difficult to monitor the breakfast? That's your job, it's pretty basic, and it wasn't even that crowded. The orange/apple/cranberry juice machine was broken, so all they had was water. Really, no one can go to a store and buy some OJ in a pinch? The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the bed was very nice and comfortable. As other reviewers have mentioned, some parts of the room are a little shabby and falling apart. Needs a bit of an upgrade. I don't know who the manager of this hotel is, but they need to be severely evaluated because they are failing at their job. I've stayed at plenty of nice Hampton Inns all over the country, and this was the worst by far.

The room I was in was clean, nicely lit and comfortable. The only reason it gets 3 stars on the room was because the air conditioner was ungodly loud and there wasn't any hot water in the shower the last morning that I left. The staff was all lovely and the food was nice. Located close to restaurants so I could walk if I wished.

The stay here was fair, what really turned me off was the shower in room 419. That shower head had 6 settings, and not one of them was worth a darn! The water came out very low and slow, at a trickle at best. I was so disappointed, because after running around doing whatever it is you have to do, then coming back to your hotel room, all you wanna do is take a hot shower and relax. I was sooooo irritated! The temp of the water was great, the pressure was the deal breaker. You had to stand directly under the head to get wet, uuuggghhh, so disappointing! I seriously wonder how the housekeepers clean that shower sufficiently. Also, there were NO CLEAN TOWELS. The room had the initial set at check in (4/20), but after the 2nd day, I wanted fresh towels, I went to the front desk to ask for some after breakfast and the guy at the front desk didnt have any, he told me to ask the housekeeper on our floor, she didn’t have any (all she had was face towels, no dry towels or hand towels) nor did the other housekeeper on the floor. I went back a while later (maybe 30 minutes later) to see if they had replenished, they hadn't; neither cart had any. In addition to all that, the young lady was in charge of breakfast on Sunday morning (4/22), wasn't the best at keeping it tidy. There was crumbs on the stations, & cereal on the floor among other things. We ate breakfast there on Saturday morning (4/21) and it was clean, neat and tidy. Needless to say, this stay wasn't what I was/am accustomed to, but it was good enough to be tolerable. The room was clean, comfy bed, the a/c worked, no noise, & pleasant employees. But please, for the next guest(s), check the shower heads to ensure good pressure, and to be sure they work properly in general. Additionally, check the ironing boards to be sure that they're in good condition as well. I wish I would have remembered to take vids and photos, but unfortunately I forgot.

A friend & I recently stayed here over the weekend. We've stayed a time or 2 before, and never experienced any issues, however this time, we did. Management (Jaleel) reached out via text to check in, I expressed the concern at that time, and it was immediately addressed AND resolved within 10 minutes. I also called the front desk to ask for a few favors, and Sundy was able to immediately accommodate (Heeyyy Sundy!! The girls from room 428 last weekend love you long time!!). Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff is friendly & always professional, the location is convenient, the room was clean and our visit was nice.
