Holy smokes, what a great experience! We brought our company here for a retreat and got to “take it to the track,” and it exceeded expectations. Even at a top speed around 32 mph, it was exciting, challenging, and a ton of fun. We were able to run two to three times per person, even with a large group, which made it even better. The staff really made the difference. Sonya runs a tight ship and it shows. Jayce kept everything running smoothly on the mechanical side, Hernan and Sheila at the front desk were friendly and on top of everything, and Lane handled track safety with confidence and clarity. The whole team communicated well and struck a great balance between fun and professionalism. I had seen an older review mentioning management issues, but based on our visit, things are clearly dialed in now. The experience was organized, safe, and overwhelmingly positive. Only downside was a questionable tuna snack from the vending machine, but that one is on me. A food truck here would be a game changer. Would absolutely return and recommend, especially for company outings or group events.

I went to see the track. I did not do the Gokart, maybe another day. I spoke to Charlie, who is one of the racing instructors at MSR. Charlie was amazing and did an excellent job giving me a tour of the track and explaining about race car rental and courses available. Thank you Charlie!!!

Super weird experience with a lot of shortcomings. It felt like it had the potential to be a really cool spot if it had some more intentional management. We weren’t given any kinda safety briefing and then we got fussed at when we didn’t know exactly what gate to walk through. We also had one race where one of us wasn’t even listed on the time board at the end. Inside team and outside team seem very disconnected. $350~ for me and 3 friends to race 5x each. Seemed fair, except every race a go-kart died. Broken wheel bearing, one just died, flat tire, it was something every time, so it meant somebody was sitting out in the middle of the race each time. We had to wait for one of my buddies to do a race at the end because of how often the carts broke down. They were also gonna make him wait til the next next race until he said something. Also after we signed waivers, 3/4 of us got an error message, and they were like, “yeah, don’t worry about it.” Other little things that woulda made it better were food and water. Vending machine is full of coke and sugary stuff and there is nothing to eat. I wanted to love it so bad, but it was meh at best. I hope they fix some of these shortcomings because it seems like a cool spot!

I went with my company to a corporate party. We booked a reservation well in advance but when we got there we were told they had overbooked and the party that was already in progress still had another hour to go. That was bad. We were told by the staff we could either reschedule or wait so we decided to wait, at which point we were told by the staff we would not be allowed to wait inside. It was the middle of June and 90° outside. It was also not our fault they overbooked. We never heard a single apology and to be that unaccommodating was just rude. That was really bad. We ended up going to a local restaurant to wait the hour then went back. Our group got 3 sessions, 4 laps each session, and had to get out of the go kart between each session, which was fine except we were assigned a different go kart each time and a lot of them are in need of repair, and that's putting it mildly. The first go kart I got in was awesome! Very fast, handled turns excellent and the brakes were on point! The second one I got was not as good as the first but it was "ok," a little sluggish, turned ok but the brakes took a while to start working. The third one was complete junk. I literally mashed the gas pedal as far as it would go to the floor and was still just idling. It took about 1/4 of the track to build up speed then I'd have to slow down for a corner and start all over again. That was terrible. The whole point of going is to RACE go karts, even if you're not "racing" other people, you're still racing to get your best time and PAYING for it, so for them to have subpar and complete junk out there for people to race is unacceptable. Fix them or scrap them. And I wasn't the only one that happened to. Several of my coworkers had the same complaint. There was one more thing that happened just before our final session. The gas and brake pedal were too far forward and my feet didn't reach them so I raised my hand to get the kid's attention as he finished helping another person, he looked at me with my hand raised, threw his hands up, rolled his eyes and said "oh my God, now what?" This could be a great place to have a great time but the staff takes away from that. Their attitude is as poor as their customer service.
