Wyndham Houston near NRG Park/Medical Center

Everything was good the rooms nice location perfect but no a/c so I had to move to the sister hotel not just rooms but entire hotels instead of being upfront and saying the ac isn’t working properly I was told if the room isn’t cool enough I can move then I go 2 the windgate behind the Wyndham where one elevator was broken so I literally had to walk all the way around the place looking for the second one and then the second one is broke when I get back to the room at 10p.m so I search for stairs only to find out the door handle is ripped off the 3floor stair door so I couldnt even get to my floor only after returning to the desk to ask for help getting to my floor was I informed of a second stair way. Seriously at least tell us the elevators are broken and clearly place markers to find the stairs. And lastly once I finally get to my room thinking I’m going to enjoy some tv no cable this is seriously ridiculous.Both hotels seriously need maintenance this is my first stay after become a rewards member and I’ll probably just go back to ihg rewards it’s a lil more cash per stay but goodness these hotels are run down.

Don’t park or stay at this hotel. Your car will get broken into and the hotel will not take responsibility. After S. Smith (we were told he was the Manager) told 15 of us, whose vehicles were broken into, he would contact us the following business day, I have not heard anything after 2 weeks. I have reached out by email twice in which he provided to me and never received a response. Per the HPD, this is a reoccurring event at this facility. The security officer was not seen for over 2 1/2 hours. There was a surveillance camera positioned directly at our vehicles. We all filled out a Video Security Access Request Form and never received a follow up. They were negligent at providing a safe and secure environment for those staying at their facility and those that paid the hotel to park in their gated parking lot for the event. I am very disappointed and will never recommend anyone to stay at the facility.

Old hotel! services like the restaurant or the bar or really anything else are not open unless there is an event that night or the next day at NRG Stadium! Or probably that whole complex! Everything in the room was old and TV was not HD, there was no little fridge or microwave the windows are very old and so it let a lot of sound in from the freeway! It was relatively clean and very comfortable bed

First room smelled like mold, I was feeling sick after 15 mins. They put me in another room, the shower didn't work. Then the shower knob was stuck. The elevator did not work. The AC would not turn off or adjust, it was freezing the whole night. The bed was hard as a rock. This was by far the most miserable experience I've ever had with a hotel. The company hosting a conference paid for all our rooms, so I had no idea what I was walking into. Everyone else I talked to, shared the same disappointment. I do not know how this place stays in business. I wish I could give it zero stars.

we should have read the reviews. we did not have a good experience at this hotel at all. the shower leaked through the wall of our room and got our luggage and clothes wet. after asking front desk if they could throw ONE pair of pants in the dryer for us, they refused. even though our clothes were wet due to their lack of facility maintenance. the room didn’t have a fridge or microwave, and had a terrible smell from the carpet, overall just a bad experience. i do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Houston.
