I had a terrible experience at Woodland Inn Suites. When checking in under my ID and my husband’s credit card, I asked for a two-night stay and a double bed for three people (all family, visiting from out of town). The desk clerk insisted I could only book one night and claimed—incorrectly—that Texas “state law” allows only one person per bed, which is simply not true. There is no such law in Texas; this is the hotel making up rules and blaming state law to deny service. When the maintenance worker realized there was a problem with the ID and card, he called the owner. The owner came out, immediately put his hand in my face, and yelled, “Who checked you in?” As a woman, I felt frightened and unsafe by how aggressive he was—instead of resolving the issue, he threw me out for having “three people in a two-bed room” and said he’d talk to his employee. On top of everything, I still haven’t received my refund, so my card is frozen and now I’m stranded in Houston without access to my money. The behavior I faced was unprofessional, hostile, and completely unacceptable for anyone managing a hotel, especially when they are clearly misrepresenting Texas law to refuse service and mistreat customers. Stay away from this place if you want to be treated with basic respect and honesty. He swiped my card and charged me $95 for the room Monday. I’ve already had my surgery and I’m back at home here. It is Friday morning and he still hasn’t released my transaction to refund me at this point. I’m gonna have to make a trip back down there and get the police involved.

Person working counter was super nice and ready to check us in. The room was bigger than ur avg hotel room. The staff are indian but speak fluent english and spanish (from what i heard from them) room had a good smell to it even though it was smoking. Found zero bugs and had an enjoyable stay. I would reccomend this hotel to families with 2-5 ppl. Great for a place to stay but no pool available. Breakfast was like a bad punchline to what seemed to be a good story. Breakfast was one muffin and juice but the juice machine was broken so just a muffin. Next to a major interstate but even at rush hour u cant even hear the traffic. The property is right next to another hotel and to a gas station and a paint and body shop. This area was tranquil and peaceful but if ammenities is what your looking for then go somewhere else. Roomy for a big family but boring if that family is looking for stuff to do at the hotel.

Very peaceful quite and private no one bothers you. No loudness from other guest.. It's great!!! Staff is friendly good at fast check in..

Very good hotel for those check in and out with in a couple of hours. Rooms are up to par for those needs. Staff real friendly.

Their better than the ones next door smell better to some rooms tho just make sure you check the towels and sheets some time they don’t even sweep
