gotta start by saying Happiness working at the front desk is incredible and super helpful! That being said, a hotel should be able to pick up a phone call. I spent 45 minutes just trying to confirm a room i booked for a client was paid for. Absolutely zero help, they simply bounced the call back and forth between folks working in reservations and now I have to go into this blind because the front desk (day shift) couldn't pick up the phone. Thanks for nothing!

I stayed at the Westin in 2024 but this review is not about that visit (it was a very nice visit!). This review is actually about the service I received in Jan 2026. Due to an issue with a third party event that was supposed to be held at this hotel, I was no longer on planning on making the trip to Houston. I called the hotel's front desk and they were able to take care of my reservation quickly. Jennifer and Alex were very professional and empathetic. Based on their service and on my previous trip, I do recommend this hotel quite highly.

I came here on for a tour with the Hotel and Lodging Association of Greater Houston (HLAGH), student chapter and was thoroughly impressed with The Westin! Everything about the hotel was what I would consider as close to a perfect hotel as possible! The rooftop pool I think is something so special and so unique because you can see the entire Houston downtown and it’s just spectacular! Then I also have to mention that every room was beautiful with a clear attention to detail in each. Their staff was also amazing! First we got to see how their whole team prepared for a large event. I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the organization of it all as it seemed like something they must do very often as it was very organized, so if you’re thinking of doing an event this most definitely is the place to do it!! Their ballroom is massive and can accommodate almost 1,000 people if I remember correctly. A big special thank you to Diego, and the rooms manager who showed us around, they were both extremely smart and kind.

Expected the hotel to be a little nicer. Bad smell as you pass the check-in. Noise coming from the AC/Heat unit. Rooms were kinda clean. I don't have hair. So, when I see hair that's an automatic minus for me. Think it's gross seeing someone else's hair. Great location if you're staying/passing through the Katy area. Not too far from NRG. Around a 20 min drive. The customer service was really nice and accommodating. Sorry no photos, I canceled my stay.

Want to say a big thank you to Manuel! He took care of us when we checked in. There should be more like him in all hotels! Very professional and nice! We were very impressed on his customer service skills. The price he told us was the final price when we checked out. Zero issues at all during our stay. We had a very comfortable stay. Will be back when we visit Houston.
