Westin Houston Downtown is a solid hotel option if you want to stay close to the heart of the city. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything you need for a short or business stay. The location is one of the biggest advantages — you’re right near downtown, Minute Maid Park, and a lot of restaurants and entertainment spots within walking distance. Service is generally professional and smooth, and the hotel feels safe and well-maintained. It’s not overly luxurious or flashy, but it’s reliable and comfortable. Overall, it’s a good balance of convenience, comfort, and location for staying in downtown Houston.

Worst hotel in the area, rates are $50/night, Located in the worst area in houston with robberies and lots of serious crime. Under the bedsheets is just disguisting all yellow and black stains on the mattress, all types of stuff you can have a look for yourself just lift the first sheet and check the bed when you get here and dont expect the pillow cases or sheets to be clean well either. I had yellow mold or some nasty liquid dripping all over the ceiling and onto the bed. The whole place is filled with homeless people and drug addicts. They tried to scam me and the manager lied saying i needed a flashlight to see the leak trying to make it seem like a small problem when i checked out early saying i cant get a refund and theres for sure bugs in every room cause their best "Vip" room was still very dirty and i spotted bugs everywhere. Ruined 2 white shirts they now have nasty permanent yellow stains from the roof leak. The room service was also very bad i asked her to clean the dirty floor from when i first got the room and she only mopped for like 15 seconds and left, the floor was still very dirty and she only got one spot (in front of the door). I went to a hotel across the street called Haven Inn and its a hell of a lot better! from a 2 star to 4 star hotel for the same price, i recommend going there if you are on a budget for a work trip.

Cozy rooms there's some roaches but the setting here makes me feel comfortable to be with my kids as a temporary apartment.
