My stay here was great! The rooms are a little outdated, but very spacious & clean. The staff are very friendly. The coffee in the lobby was always hot (even super early in the morning before breakfast started!). The parking lot is a little small, but there is plenty of extra parking at the rear of the building. My only (minor) complaint is that I think weekday breakfast hours should start at 6am like most other Marriott hotels (rather than 6:30am).

TownePlace Suites by Marriott Houston Galleria Area is a great hotel at an awesome location! It’s right next to a Walmart and several restaurants. We were able to walk over to Walmart to grab things as needed and found food within walking distance for the nights we didn’t want to use the rental vehicle. It is also only over a mile away from the Galleria. The staff is very friendly and respectful, especially the cleaning crew members. We have stayed at many different hotels but the 1 thing I always remember about this hotel is that for our entire stay (of 7 nights), every single member of the cleaning crew we encountered acknowledged us with a big smile! It may be a small thing for some but for me personally, that small thing made a big impression!

5 Stars all around! My stay here was approximately 2 weeks and as a Marriott bonvoy member I've stayed at multiple locations and I must say this location is excellent!! The staff and management are very pleasant to deal with and are very accommodating. Rooms are very clean and breakfast was sufficient but much better on weekends. Even management works the front desk, which is unheard of. Plentiful parking and 2 minutes walk from Walmart. I want to thank Krystal, Jose, Marisol, Felicia and Amber for a job well done.

Located not far from Chinatown area and Galleria area. Located within a shopping area, it is at first a bit tricky to wind your way through, but once done it's not that bad. The views are nothing special. Very good breakfast layout. Staff very nice. Did not use workout area.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. The location is excellent, close to several shops and restaurants. The hotel is quiet, tidy, and has a high level of security. The rooms are medium-sized and have a full kitchen. The breakfast is free and varied for all guests. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day in the lobby, and there is a small shop. The staff are all friendly, parking is free
