The Westin Oaks Houston at the Galleria

VERY pleased with our stay. Location is obviously perfect attached to the Galleria, and it made date night amazing. Never had tonleave the immediate area so we could shop, eat and drink without having to worry about driving or getting an Uber. The front desk clerk was extremely nice and welcomed us so warmly I couldn't help but smile. The room was very nice and better than I expected. My only issues were 1) Valet was a little on the rude side. Im used to valet employees being super happy and professional. He barely talked and seemed to just be too grumpy about people holding up the line to have enough energy to give us more than "yea this is the valet for the hotel" 2) top comforter had a stain and we called to have it replaced. They never showed up. 3) if it were summer this would matter more, but we didn't come to this hotel for the pool. Being pool people ourselves, we judge a hotel by their pool and will pass on it if the pool is trash. Well this pool is trash. Its a rooftop pool that LOOKS like they just placed a pool on the rooftop and threw in some chairs. I really expected better from a Westin hotel. Pool gives Motel 6 vibes. 4) not a big deal, but chrome cast did not work in our room. Was really looking forward to relaxing in the room and catching up on our show on Hulu. Good thing our experience otherwise and amazing location make up for the negatives. We'll definitely be coming back for our date nights. But if we plan on laying poolside, we'll definitely go elsewhere.

Nice, convenient hotel attached to the Galleria Mall. I was able to check in early on a Sunday around 1pm. The hotel clerk was friendly, I asked for an upgrade but none were available for a double queen room, instead I was given access to what I believe was M lounge benefits. This was nice breakfast, coffee, and snacks in a private room that required key card access. Paid parking right across from the hotel was about $20 per day. Valet is much higher and frankly not worth it. We were visiting DelFrisco’s Restaurant which was a quick 3 minute walk from the hotel. We also were able to access the mall from the 3rd floor. Great spot, nice rooms, clean facility. I will definitely return.

I loved my stay here so much! Facilities were clean and up to date. Location is great. Of course you have the proximity to the mall. Parking is free which seems to be unique for the area. Lots of people even at night and especially on the weekend but it keeps things lively and does not interrupt the experience at all. 15-20 minutes from everything I needed!

My experience at staying with The Westin was very satisfying. Beginning with the greeter service at valet. I was helped by the manager Maha himself and from there was taken care of splendidly. In my room there was peace and comfort just the way i wanted.

Upon arriving at the front drive of the Westin Oaks, Maha provided excellent service greeted us warmly and assisted my wife and me with our luggage right away. Their professionalism and positive attitude made our visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely return.
