One of the best hospitalities I have experienced at hotels in the western side of the world. From all the people on different shifts at check in, the restaurant, the valet, to the over the phone communication. The interiors of the hotel are also one of the unique ones. The building gives rustic charms but their is chic in the decor items to amenities. It was super kind to provide an extra pack of goodies for Silver guests. Makes you feel valued as a customer. The only downside is that the television didn't work in my room. Which was a slight bummer, though it isn't a must have for me. It's a super peaceful spot, great bedding, ample lighting, and really an over all you'll-find-everything-you-need situation! ♡ Still staying at the hotel so will report back with an update and maybe a photo when I haven't upheaveled the sheets/place! Update: The experience only got better from the amazing reception hosts helping with selecting the best beverage in the house to literally being delivered a microwave to my room for warming up my late night snacks! Loved the cosy street views from the windows and the rainy streets of Houston. Absolutely recommend this place! This time,adding a photo of the lovely interiors! The olive/sage foresty green is such a vibe ♡

What a cute hotel! The rooms were well appointed and the bed comfy. The shower was great pressure and hot as heck! I checked in late and smoothly, was offered extra waters, and a noon checkout. Service perfect too. No complaints! Plus it was a 5 min walk to the courthouse and easy for rideshare.

The decor is lovely but once you start looking closely, it’s a bit…worn. Loose fixtures galore (wall sconces, bathroom faucets, etc). Paint slapped on things to make them seem newer. They were obviously renovating while we were there so maybe just an unfortunate in-between time to catch them. Room was tidy but not clean - hair in far corner of shower, blood(?) stain on duvet. Rippling carpet difficult to wheel luggage over. All switches felt very dirty. Okay location. A lot to do in walking distance but traffic and parking will be an obstacle. We used the valet service. It was decent. They did accommodate an early check-in, which was nice, but why have a room ready that isn’t at its cleanest? Not the worst, not the best.

Stayed here in September 2025 - This is a hotel property which bring a big of a charm which is not always found in the regular hotel brands. This is located in downtown Houston within reach of some government offices and courts. The property itself is small comparatively but is is well managed and maintained. I was very please with the service and the staff. The entrance is welcoming and the lobby area setup appropriately for the size. The room I had was perfect size. The bathroom and amenities all proper to style and the brand. The styling was proper for the brand and design intent. Very cozy and felt luxurious. There is valet parking available. Parking also across the building or the lot next to it, but they are not a part of the property. You have to pay using an app or at a console and pay what is posted per day and duration. The parking fees fluctuate based on events or weekday. I was familiar with the area so opted to park myself using the ParkWiz app. All in all a great property and will likely stay again in the future.

Brandon Scivolette

An excellent Hilton that provides a unique experience. The rooms are really well designed and comfortable and spacious. The gym is small but given this is an old building that is to be expected; it still has everything you'd need for a workout including free weights and a Pelaton.
