I had to check out Tilman Fertitta’s Post Oak Hotel while visiting Houston, and I’ve been absolutely amazed by the service. The moment you walk in, the hospitality is on another level—they truly take care of you. My room was extremely luxurious and spotless. I stayed in the Concierge Suite on the 21st floor, and the view is incredible. The attention to detail in the room is impressive—everything from the lighting to the furniture feels thoughtfully chosen. The bed is unbelievably comfortable, and the in-room selection of high-end liquor and wine was a great touch. Breakfast was outstanding as well. I had the crab cakes and they were perfect. The concierge lounge also exceeded expectations with a great selection of food that rotates throughout the day. Huge shoutout to Kenneth at the front desk—he was professional, welcoming, and made the check-in experience smooth and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Houston, The Post Oak Hotel is absolutely worth it. A true luxury experience.

From the moment my ride arrived until the time I checked out, I felt completely taken care of at The Post Oak Hotel. The level of service and attention to detail is unmatched. The concierge, front desk, and in-room dining staff all made my stay remarkable. The room itself was stunning... peaceful, luxurious, and so comfortable that I honestly didn’t want to leave. The breakfast was amazing, and while I wish I could’ve tried the crab cake, I truly appreciated how the dining team prioritized my no-dairy diet and made sure I was well taken care of. If you’re looking for a hotel that defines five-star hospitality, The Post Oak is it. I can’t wait to come back!

My favorite place to go. Always classy and beautiful, service is impeccable. I went to Bouchee patisserie this time, with some friends who were first time visitors. They were very impressed! Definitely recommend going there for galentines or Valentines day 🎊👌🏼the staff is lovely, Bouchee has the best croissants in town!

The Post Oak Hotel does not meet the standards of a five-star or five-diamond property. While the décor is attractive, the overall experience falls significantly short. I would strongly advise against hosting any special event at this establishment. We hosted a baby shower at Bloom & Bee, located within The Post Oak Hotel, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Although the food itself was satisfactory, the level of service was notably poor and inconsistent with the hotel’s claimed Forbes and AAA ratings. Our party of eight was repeatedly required to seek out staff for basic needs, including water refills, beverage orders, general inquiries, and payment. The assigned server was frequently absent, and when present, demonstrated a lack of professionalism and engagement. Drink orders were delayed, requests were overlooked, and food service was excessively slow, with no communication or explanation provided. As guests, we were effectively left to manage our own service while paying premium prices. The most concerning incident occurred with the valet service. My Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon was misplaced for over an hour. I had to stand as a pregnant woman for over an hour while waiting. During this time, valet staff appeared disorganized and unable to provide accurate information. Alarmingly, other similar vehicles were brought forward in an apparent attempt to present them as mine. This conduct goes beyond a simple oversight and raises serious concerns regarding vehicle handling and guest safety. Additionally, retrieving my own vehicle was unnecessarily difficult. My friends car was parked away from the hotel entrance, and she was instructed to walk to retrieve it rather than having it brought forward. This required unnecessary discussion to resolve and further reflected the lack of coordination and professionalism. Overall, the experience was stressful, disorganized, and far below the expectations of a luxury property. Any claim to five-star service is not supported by the level of hospitality provided. I strongly recommend that prospective guests and event hosts consider alternative venues.

Celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday in the best way possible! She wanted something upscale, so we chose Bloom & Bee at The Post Oak Hotel for a special birthday brunch, and it was perfect. Christian was our server and he was absolutely amazing. John G., the manager on duty, stopped by to personally wish my daughter a happy birthday, and the team surprised her with something special to celebrate. From the valet to the very end of our visit, the service was exceptional. The food was delicious, the ambiance was beautiful, and the hotel was beautifully decorated with Christmas decor. Absolutely beautiful! A huge shout-out to JP Salazar for helping make our entire experience unforgettable. Thank you all for making my daughter’s 21st so special! 🎉💗
