Super 8 by Wyndham Kingwood Houston North

The only thing good about this place is the location: they don’t clean / do the beds ( because they clean them every 3 days according to the guy at the counter with a bad face). I stayed there for 4 days and I had to go to complain 3 of those because nobody done at least the bed and pick up the wet towels. And to complement: there is a sign stating that the hotel is a smoke free location, well the hallway has a strong smell of weed. I needed to extend my stay for another 4 days but at the end we decided to go somewhere else. Never again!!

Toilet was clogged. Unclogging it got pee-water all over the floor. I handled both myself after getting a plunger and disinfectant from the front desk. Then roaches surprised me in the bathroom. I killed 3 of them one evening but didn’t see any others at any other times so that’s a plus. Nothing really felt or looked super clean except the linens. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the tv channel selection was great. WiFi was fast too. Price was very affordable.

My family and I have stayed here multiple times (at least 6 separate times in the last 3 years) and have had mostly great experiences. We are currently staying here right now and this is the first time we've had issues. The staff is usually very friendly and accommodating, but this trip they have been almost aggressive and at times extremely rude. I woke up this morning to a cockroach in the bathroom, there are gaps missing in the "wood" floor, the ice container was so filthy the plastic bag was stuck to it and the fire alarm is literally taped on in our room and doesn't appear to be operational. I added pictures that show everything other than the cockroach because I killed it before it could run off. It is close to restaurants and Kroger, so we're able to walk instead of taking an Uber or Lyft. We're visiting friends in the Kingwood area, so we are happy with how close we are to everything.

So much I could say. This hotel is roach INFESTED!! Like so bad they were on my kids face at night. I will include the photos and be sharing the videos with Facebook. They also wrongfully charged us the $50 hold and now posted it after we left it how we found it. I’m livid at the lack of customer service and the fact my babies had to sleep with hundred of roaches. If they would have been decent humans since we didn’t stay the time we booked it and refunded the hold I would have had a lot more respect for them but right now I think they genuinely do not care anyways.honestly more pissed they posted the $50 hold on top of it when we didn’t even use our Time we booked it and left the hotel how we found it

here for one night and saw at least 50 cockroaches, it was absolutely disgusting. we first got in the room and it literally smelt like a gas chamber filled with cleaners and they didn’t let it air out or anything AT ALL. the staff was disrespectful, and this place is absolutely infested with roaches i can’t give it a 0 star so i give it a 1.
