This place had it's 5 star qualities as well as it's 1 star qualities I'm just about every aspect. We came here intending to stay for about a week and sort of got stuck there for a little over a month! There are rooms with serious mold issues and others with none. I met quite a few people in our stay and saw different rooms in different conditions. The linens were absolutely sub par, we got a set with cigarette holes in them, unfortunately the motel can only do so much given the area and the rampant theft of anything not basically bolted down. The laundry room is large and clean and all the machines worked but your clothes could get stolen if you aren't super careful. There is a weekly rate I found out at the end of our stay, utilize it if your staying, unfortunately I didn't learn this from the staff. We had absolutely no issues with the front office or maintenance staff, just the opposite really. The area is not great and can be very bad. There are constantly fights and loud music and yelling and banging and begging for money and cigarettes and you name it. The room we checked into first was very dirty and the mold smell was overwhelming. We were told by an employee that the mold is and has caused serious health problems for some, I can't speak to the truth of these claims, but I did see and smell the mold with my own eyes. We were moved and the second room was better but there were still issues. I would stay there again if I had to, otherwise I'd look elsewhere.

This was the second time I'd stay at Studio 6 for an extended amount of time. Everyone was still very professional and helpful. I did notice after my first evaluation of the property where I stated that the property was dirty, it was better maintained most of the time (still not all) after that. Because of the nature of the business, not everything was perfect, and that was understandable; all of my needs were met. The lady who cleaned my room did an excellent job!!

The studio seems nice and for the most part the staff is very pleasant. First off they placed me in smoking room, which I do not. When I first walked in we killed a spider in the closet. I was understanding due to the humidity however I was extremely disgusted with the roaches. We killed 5 and these were roaches from dirty tenants. We decided not to keep our clothes in the room or use any dishes. The operations manager tried to be accommodating to switch me rooms but the 2 rooms available needed repairs and the one I looked at had a dead roach from outside. So apparently they are not checking and cleaning the rooms thoroughly. He basically sealed the pipes and gave me my last 2 nights no charge. Even after sealing the pipes I still found a roach but several dead critters from them putting raid in the room while I was out. I appreciate what the operations manager tried to do but it was still disgusting. I will never stay here again.

We found this online when we needed a room near a family member at the last minute. The room was clean, everything worked and was in good repair, and had all the amenities we needed. All the staff were very helpful including the housekeepers. Special kudos to the 2 front desk ladies, Ann and Cheryl, who were always cheerful and even helped us get the best rate, which was better than any in the area, when we had to extend our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean. Nice-looking. The only problem was that at one point the AC got so loud that it woke me up. I thought a train was passing! Of course, it had been sweltering hot all day so the AC had been working non-stop. I turned it off for awhile, sweated, then turned it back on. It got loud off and on throughout the night but never quite as loud as the first time. I called the front desk about it. There was nothing they could do. No maintenance person was available until morning and all rooms were full due to displaced Hurricane Harvey victims. Everything else was great. I slept better in the bed than I did in my new one at home. There was a coffee pot, coffee, plates, mugs, pots and pans and a small stove, as well as a nice-sized fridge. Even dishcloths and dish towels. And everything was spotless! I'll definitely be staying again.
