Update 1. Weeks after, we are still finding roaches. OMG, the roaches is aggressive and infestation. We are still getting roaches from or luggage. First night my wife went down to complain but the guy walks away and go in the back room. How can this be problem solving skills. Close the door and problem is solved. walking in the halls is unbearable and everybody cooking and smoking their doors is open. It's horrible stitch. Even our clothes smells bad. This is Smoking Hotel. Our room smells cheap cigarettes and grease splatter on the wall and counter. So many roaches there. The ladies at breakfast says thay guy at the desk is a manager and he confused to fix the problems only waits for other staff.

My experience here was beyond horrible. And from reading all the negative reviews. There's nothing I could possibly add. NOTHING. What I don't want is the person who keeps responding to all the negative reviews is have a response for me. Address the issues and stop apologizing. And the issues are plentiful at this location. And what's sad, when I inquired about who was the person on shift when I had my issues. It's the same person who is responding to all the negative reviews. I requested to get out of a room full of roaches, to be placed in a room with the most deplorable smell. Smh. I found out that was him when checking out the next morning. I had a two day stay. Wish I had shortened it that night. And that one night was a hard night I had to endure. Slept with the lights on in the second room I was placed in. And end up squashing another roach I saw crawling on the wall. Smh. No good rest and I had a job to go to that morning. This place is in need of a wrecking ball. And that poster in the lobby is absolutely absurd. The only thing that sign should be saying, "Going out of Business", and let me show you the exit, for real. This place is a stain on the IHG brand. P.S. How could I forget. When I was being placed in the second room, the guy opens the door and beside the horrible smell coming out of the room. There was plates of food, a water and a soda bottle on the desk. The guy says, how did that get in here. My response, as if I would know. Unbelievable. I still can't get the nightmare stay of this place out of my head.

If you love ROACHES - this is your next stop! For all of your favorite amenities, like dead roaches! & don’t forget to touch the sticky microwave, maybe drink out of the filthy glasses for some fun! Nothing beats having a few extra roommates when visiting HTX.

Came here for a birthday weekend and ended up leaving early due to water leaking into our room from the ceiling. There were also bugs crawling on the counter. The GM reached out and made promises to make it right since I am a Dimond Elite member. Everything the GM said he was going to do was a lie. I have not received any type of refund for the night's that were not used, now they will not return or accept my calls. I will now be seeking to contact the owners of this property directly. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY.

Good: Breakfast and kitchen staff Easy to get to freeway Walking path with pond Room layout. No stupid barn doors Dog park Bad: No one ever at front desk. Have to call to back then they are annoyed that you exist Broken card reader on south door Furniture old and showing wear TV remote different brand than TV so not all buttons worked All hard floors which is fine but they weren’t very clean. See picture of wipe used on about 5 square feet of floor. No housekeeping on weekends by default Bathroom had some poorly done drywall and paint repairs
