I’m not going to lie…I was nervous booking this hotel because of the google reviews. However, the only con I had during my recent stay is that the hotel itself is old. That’s literally it. It was convenient distance to the hospital and they have a complimentary shuttle during weekdays to the hospital from 6am to 6pm. The staff was very nice and accommodating as well. There really wasn’t anything bad about our stay and it was my family of 6.

Stayed during the Houston Rodeo 2026. We had workers come in and out throughout the entire show so it certainly wasn’t cheap. $10 for additional parking pass. Overall, it’s decent. Clean, quiet and no bugs. Nothing too special. Security on the outside. Here’s the perks… They did have free washer / dryer. Which ended burning 5 pair of clothes we just bought for our baby girls. Just a “sorry” from front desk. They offer baby cribs. Full fridge and Microwave. I stayed in rm 329,310 and 306. I moved from room to room because of the breakers going out and it happened enough that I heard the same from multiple people. 310 was the private suite room which was the best. 329 was small w a queen. 306 was small with a full mattress. The rooms itself are pretty small. Bathroom small. Shower worked well, hot water. WiFi was spotty. Mattress was good but firm. Nice pillows 👍 Tv channels were ok (Directv) And some rooms had the small 32” tv. They had “fresh” fruit options and normal breakfast but the room was small and clustered when you have 5+ there at the same time. For the price you pay on avg, where you’re at and what they offer, I’d find somewhere a bit out of town for a better stay and rate.

I absolutely do not recommend this… I absolutely do not recommend this hotel. I came for a medical appointment with my son. We traveled for 10 hours. The reservation was made by my son's medical service. My card was declined for the deposit. Another person offered to pay, I asked for his name, and he refused to give me the room, pushed me away, and threatened me. The night manager. I told him I had nowhere else to go and would stay in the lobby, and he said okay. I had to give my son medical treatment in the lobby. My son has heart problems and a tracheostomy and feeding tube. He was extremely rude and threatening.

Visiting my brother-in-law at MD Anderson and needed a quick place to stay. Found this close by and glad we did. They are IHG owned which gives great points. Good price for a Friday night and availability. The Queen Suite has a refrigerator with an ice maker, please be patient, the ice will start and dispense all night. Comfortable bedding the only complaint I had was the shower pressure was a little too weak for me. I like for the shower to hit a little harder. Overall clean and breakfast was decent, a good variety of toast/bagel/pancakes/eggs/fruit, etc We will return for another stay when necessary.

Very clean, friendly, and even pet friendly, but it doesn't stink or smell like animals. Fair prices and I felt perfectly comfortable and safe even staying alone. Highly recommend if you need to stay near Michael E Debakey VA hospital.
