Staybridge Suites Houston IAH Beltway 8

Large, well maintained hotel. Suite room was large with 2 tvs and sofa. WiFi worked great. Breakfast was different and quite good with cereal, scones, fruit,bagels, ham, potatoes, several juices and coffee. Only negatives for us was no dairy milk or Greek yogurts. Worst Staybridge experience ever (room 132)... Management does not hold themselves accountable for anything and blames you for not being happy and even suggested we leave. Management claimed we were just complaining because they "couldn't give us an upgrade"... but loved the maintenance guy. He was fast, honest and personable and tried his best to fix what he could, like the curtains and microwave issues. 1) the curtains were torn so bad we couldn't sleep with the light shining though (they did replace one while we were there). 2) We wanted to take a bath but the water was yellow and unappealing. 3) it was 25 degrees the 4 days we were there and the heater stunk so bad we could hardly stand it. 4) the microwave had no light so was difficult to cook and had to bring a livingroom lamp into the small kitchen area. 5) had a couple of these bugs (see photos), one was in the bed. 6) mirror had a big crack. 7) neither telephone in the room worked the entire time. 8) none of the outdoor doors open with a key so you have to prop them open with a rock. GOOD: food, kitchen lady, maintenance guy, and free laundry (big bonus).

Avoids this place at all costs!! I should have read the other reviews before making a booking. When we arrived here we were confronted with a outdated and worn out place which needs desperate renovation. But the worst thing where the cockroaches we discovered in our room within a few minutes after checking in. The staff offered us another room but we had no trust in that so we decided to leave and go to another place. Unfortunately the staff didn't want to refund us. Which they definitely should have considering all the cockroaches we found in our room.

My gf and I stayed here before our flight the next morning. I doordashed food, amd she said she noticed something move on the table. I lifted our bag and cockroaches scattered. I immediately checked the rest of the room and lifted the sheets on the mattress and more cockroaches scattered. I called the front desk and this kid laughs and says, "I wouldn't stay." He did move us rooms but we didn't sleep well at all. Thanks. Im and IHG member and would recommend staying anywhere else.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! ROACHES!!!! GERMAN ROACH INFESTATION!!! me and my family stayed about six hours total in this hotel we checked in feb 5th at 10pm and checked out at 4am the following morning with zero sleep had that night. I emailed the general manager and sent him photos of my pillow with multiple black stains on it but the main issue was the fact it also had a roach crawling on the pillow! They had roaches in the bathroom in the kitchen and in our BED. I wish I’d seen these reviews before booking it I’m willing to bet the couple of reviews claiming they enjoyed it are fake reviews or paid for reviews. I’ve emailed the general manager of that hotel multiple times and have never heard back from them. TERRIBLE GARBAGE ESTABLISHMENT.
