Springhill Suites Houston Medical Center nrg Park

The Employees at this location are super attentive , kind and helpful. I need to add in quick and accommodating as well. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t as nice as the one I normally use out in League City /Nasa Area . I do so much traveling but I didn’t expect a small odor in the room and tho the front desk is very helpful getting extra towels if your like me ask for as soon as you check in so they will be there during your stay. It seemed a bit older here . But what I couldn’t get over is the gate . And having to pull a ticket or pay 15 fee ??? I never had to the gate opens as soon as you pull up to it but it got my attention .

This hotel is quite average. The rooms are quite outdated, service is OK, and location is pretty good. Checking into the hotel took quite a bit of time. There were many people waiting to be checked in by one staff member, and this hotel does not have any dedicated check-in lines for ambassadors. As mentioned before, the rooms are pretty outdated with furniture, somewhat falling apart. The air-conditioning units make loud noises and can only be controlled on the units themselves by the window. Bathrooms are also outdated with old toilets. Breakfast is fine, nothing too exceptional, but it gets a job done as a standard continental breakfast. Parking is a pain and very limited. A parking attendant has to let you in and out every time.

The room smelled old and not clean. It looks dated and the bed was extremely hard and bumpy. The pillows were hard and flat. We found a blood spot on the comforter. It was either hot or cool in the room. The sofa was not a sofa but a trundle bed and trying to sit on it to watch TV was horrifying because we are older and it was difficult to get up off the sofa area. The shower was hard to regulate and had a constant drip because you couldn’t turn it completely off. The housekeeping staff are extremely overworked. The breakfast was horrible. The only good thing was the Yoplait yogurt. The bagels were hard and tasted off, I couldn’t eat it. I would not recommend this hotel.

I am only going with 4 stars simply because it is not a 4-5 star property. However it is a great location for attending a game at NRG stadium. It's a 15-20 minute easy walk from the hotel. The rooms are spacious with a totally separate seating and work desk area. Small microwave and refrigerator are tucked under the wetbar. Closet had plenty of hangers. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast included was simple, and did its job. Staff were friendly. You do pay $12 per day to park. Would've paid more to park in the area for Texans game, so that is fine. Plenty of food, grocery, drugstore options within 10-15 min drive.

Very appreciative of this great staff. Eli and his team were very accommodating this weekend for our group. Quick response from everyone. Thank you for taking care of all our employees during the winter storm. Team was very calm and still kind despite all the chaos happening. Looking forward to work with your hotel again in the future.
