SpringHill Suites Houston Intercontinental Airport

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere is tranquil, comfortable, and well-maintained, ideal for relaxing. Today I requested room service in room 5.30 and received excellent service. I especially want to highlight the help of Mrs. Mary from maintenance, who was very respectful, attentive, and always available to assist. She helped me with the television and the toilet quickly and efficiently, showing great kindness and professionalism. Without a doubt, her helpfulness made my experience at the hotel even better. I will definitely return.

Worst mattress ever. We needed a hotel near the airport for one night. I’ve stayed in a SpringHill Suites before and liked it, but that facility was newer construction. This building is older, which is fine, but the mattress was so worn out that it sagged in the center. The restaurant and bar were also closed during our stay, which was inconvenient, but places like this aren’t really selling amenities, they are selling a safe, comfortable, and convenient place to sleep. Unfortunately the mattress was so uncomfortable that it didn’t meet even that most basic requirement. I gave it a go because we were only staying one night. This morning I regret my decision. My back aches and I am exhausted.

This is a great value for the money property very close to IAH. 4 stars doesn’t mean it’s the nicest hotel in the world….but it serves its purpose well. Of course the close proximity to the airport can be a huge plus but also means contending with noise from flights directly overhead. There is an airport shuttle which is convenient. Front desk staff was very kind and courteous at check in. I was surprised that my Bonvoy status + benefits were recognized despite booking through a third party. Room was clean. Mattress was a little hard but nothing to complain about at this price point. Overall, no issues for a quick business trip and late night arrival.

I was returning my rental car and had some time to kill before my flight, so I stopped into the hotel bar and it ended up being the highlight of my day. The bartender Valerie was amazing. Super welcoming, easy to talk to, and just had the best energy. She made the whole place feel relaxed and fun. The drinks were seriously top tier, perfectly made and hit the spot. Honestly I’d give the hotel 5 stars just based on that experience alone. If you stop in, hope you get Valerie, she’s the best!!

Spring Hill Suites SpringHill Suites was a great place to have a layover for one night. I was traveling with my grandma (own room), husband and two children. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating in the short time we were there. The layout of the room was great (desk divider) to allow for some separation at night between my husband and me and the kids. The room had a lot of outlets that allowed us to recharge our devices. The shuttle was easy to find at the airport, and the lobby had a luggage cart. The check-in process was very quick. My husband ordered DoorDash, and the rooms already came with utensils and paper goods. The front desk allowed us to have a late check-out, so my husband was able to set up at the desk to work before we had to leave. The hotel was fairly empty, so the kids were able to run and release their energy before heading to the airport. The breakfast in the morning was PERFECT for the family and had great options with lots of seating. The bedding was very warm and comfortable, but we couldn't adjust the TV to watch easily. The only downfall was the pack-in-play crib; it was old, dirty, and had an odor (it worked for 1 night).
