This place gave us one of the most horrible living experiences we’ve ever had. I was a new legal immigrant to the U.S. when I first moved in, and they clearly took advantage of my limited English and misled me during the leasing process. We verbally agreed to a month-to-month lease, since I planned to stay only 4–6 months before moving to New York. This was discussed directly with the front desk staff member, Angie. She told me the lease was month-to-month and that the move-out notice period was 30 days. There was no mention of a 12-month lease, reletting fees, or cleaning charges. Later, I discovered they had quietly changed the lease to a 12-month agreement without clearly explaining it. I provided written notice one month before moving out, but they later claimed they had “misplaced” it. When I moved out, I left the apartment in excellent condition, including thoroughly cleaning the carpet and all areas. Despite this, they sent me a final bill of nearly $1,750, which included: $1,400 reletting fee $150 general cleaning fee $150 carpet cleaning fee These charges are unreasonable and unacceptable. The lease only mentions reasonable cleaning charges, and $300 for cleaning an already clean unit is excessive. When I contacted management, I was told that Angie no longer works there and that they are not responsible for her actions. The current manager, Erin Pool, was completely unhelpful and repeatedly said, “You signed the agreement,” without addressing the misleading information or circumstances. Other ongoing issues: Laundry facilities are often dirty and poorly maintained Office is frequently closed, making it difficult to make payments Despite poor communication, they are quick to charge late fees This apartment complex appears more focused on collecting money than treating tenants fairly or humanely. I strongly advise anyone considering leasing here to read the lease multiple times before signing, especially if you are new to the country. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I believe their administration and billing practices should be reviewed by the Better Business Bureau due to lack of transparency and poor communication.

Just moved in today and this is my first apartment on my own. I chose this place mainly because it’s close to UH. All utilities are included, so my rent will be the same every month, which makes budgeting super easy! The community is small and quiet. I’m happy with my decision and excited to be here.

Breakfast was included. I truly enjoyed my stay here. The room was impeccable. The bed provided a night of relaxation and sweet dreams. The sheets were of 1000ct percale. The pillows we're very comfortable, not flat at all. The shower was very clean. There was no shortage of hot water. I appreciate the kitchen area with microwave, refrigerator, and all small appliances. They offer do much for under $100 a night. There's a pool, exercise room, laundry room, grilling, tennis court, and excellent staff to assist with everything!

Maria and Angie have been absolutely amazing! These two ladies are the most helpful and respectful people I’ve ever met. The moment you walk into the office, you can feel their positive energy—always greeting you with a big smile and genuine warmth. Their kindness doesn't stop at the office door; whenever you see them around the property, they always say hi and make you feel welcome. It’s clear that they truly care about the community, and everyone here speaks so highly of them. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do, especially all the fun and thoughtful events they organize. Thank you, Maria and Angie, for going above and beyond every single day. You make this place feel like home!

It was not very easy to find, turns out, they are making this hotel into an apartment complex, so that is exactly what it looks like. They have maybe 5-6 rooms that are still a part of the hotel. No ice machine, no drinks, no amenities whatsoever. Once we got up to the room (room #0123), there appeared to be an old "blood" looking stain my the bed. The bed itself was clean and quite comfortable. On to the bar/kitchen area, my boyfriend pulled out the chair and a pair of dirty green thongs were laying on the chair. GROSS!!!! WTG Housekeeping on your spectacular cleaning job. :( as exhausted as we were, we just went to bed because they had no more rooms available and our room was nonrefundable. All night it was extremely loud, doors opening and closing, we were directly above the check in so we could hear people talking all night. We got up the next morning, showered, and as I was leaving the restroom, the closet door was open (it was open when we got there, we didn't use it) and I noticed yet another pair of tan women's thongs that were all bloody hanging down from the top shelf. Told the the guy working when we were checking out, and took pics to show him and his response was, oh no, sorry, but everything else was ok? No offer to give me a discount off the room, nothing, just, thank you for coming, sorry about what happened and have a good day. Will NEVER EVER EVER go there again and do not recommend this place to anyone. I've never left a bad review for anyone before, and I do leave quite a few reviews, but this was just an awful experience.
