I recently traveled to Houston for my clinical labs for school, and was looking for something affordable and comfortable. I stayed for a week, and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and had all the amenities you could want- mini fridge, microwave, air conditioning. The front desk staff were wonderful and helpful. I used the on site laundry every day, it was super convenient! Housekeeping was amazing, they came every single day and made sure everything was immaculate. I didn't see any insects or issues, the other people staying there were quiet and had no issues there either. They also had vending machines, frozen meals, and beer available to purchase from the front desk. I had a great stay, and it you are wary because of the low price, don't be. It's a great place to stay.

Starting to be a very low class Inn, the staff is rude and the rooms I've gotten so far has urine on the floor. I've booked 2 rooms so far and each one have urine on the floor. Don't know if it's staff doing the job or guests. The front desk are very rude and it's non refundable for everything. Don't bother try the Holiday Inn across the way. Very good stay at the Holiday Inn. I'm usually doing business trips and Holiday Inn never missed on my stays. As for the Rest Well Inn, definitely not a "Rest Well" experience. Only sketchy people, heavy smoking and urine everywhere. People using the Inn for a long-term stay because of evictions, or etc. Those kind of sketchy people. Narcotic dealers all over that place asking to buy blow. I was constantly fearing for my safety and car safety there as well.

The entrance is beautiful but looks are very deceiving. We went with an open mind and was very disappointed. We were warned about the hotel when we walked in, by another guest that was leaving. They also left the same night they booked. The second floor smells strong of mold/mildew. The room was also not like the pictures at all. The TV was to the far right of the room and the bed was to the left. There was a door that led to a locked door. The room we were given had a strong smoke smell even though we got a non-smoking room. The shower reminds me of a prison shower with no curtain. The room was in poor condition, with cracks and a missing smoke detector with wire hanging from the ceiling. We did not stay after reviewing the room. You have to jump through hoops to get a refund especially through booking.com. Front desk representative was nice but she started flirting with my boyfriend and I did not appreciate that. I do not recommend staying even if you are looking for affordable rooms.

Terrible experience, I was disturbed by bad children and women who wear shower caps as a fashion statement around the Rest Well. I'm Hispanic and I ran from there soon as I saw who stayed there. Smoke everywhere smoke alarms are taken out the room. Stomping and constant walking by Sketchy people who ask do I want to buy pot at night. Front desk (the young lady work night shift) does not even care. She let's that crew check in and run decent guest away. My brother and I left quickly as I saw all that. Please do better as a Inn.

This was my worst hotel experience ever. Upon arrival, everything seemed okay, and the receptionist greeted us. However, when we entered our room, we were shocked to find it completely different from the photos on the website. The sides of the bed looked unstable, there were used socks in the closet, the bed was untidy, and there was a strong cigarette smell. There was even a hole in the wall as if someone had punched it. The shower was in poor condition with water on the floor, and the bathroom was extremely deteriorated. I could keep listing more problems. We returned to the reception to file a complaint. After the receptionist inspected the room and saw the mess, she apologized to us, saying that the cleaning lady wasn’t doing her job efficiently. They gave us a different room, which was more similar to the images on the website, but there were still socks in the closet, no smoke detector, the bathroom lights blinked or didn’t turn on, and the cigarette smell was strong. The remote had no lid for the batteries. The pillows were uncomfortable, and there was no do not disturb card. When I asked about the card at reception, they told me they didn’t have it. The next morning, the cleaning lady tried to enter the room so hard that she woke up my partner and me, shouting “TOALLAS.” In summary, I don’t recommend staying here to anyone. They could have the same bad luck as me. By the way, I took the liberty of posting pictures of how they showcase the hotel on their website.
