Sleep Inn & Suites

This hotel was in a very quiet area. The room was clean and well stocked on towels. The complimentary toiletries was not that great, very basic, but the bathroom was very clean. The bed was soft and anyway comfy. I pulled back the sheets to check for stains & to disinfectant, but there were none visible, however the pillow cases were a little dingy with a couple of visible stains ( I bring my own towels anyway to spread on the pillows for such a thing like, so no problem). The room smelled a little like smoke which had me sneezing, but disinfectant and room deoderizer took care of that. Lighting was good in the room. Fridge & microwave worked well although the microwave needs to be replaced. It was chipped & peeling inside. The only real problems were that there is no pool & they do not serve a hit breakfast during the weekdays. However you can get a continental, grab and go breakfast (Fruit, muffins, etc.) Staff was very nice and courteous, answering all questions. I would stay again.

Rooms and bathrooms were clean enough, had complimentary coffee in the room so that was nice but the coffee machine kept turning on randomly throughout the night. The beds were comfortable so no complaints there. The fridge wasn't plugged in so I had to pull it out to plug it in myself. The TV wasn't on the right source initially so the nice guy at the front desk helped out with that. The elevator smells AWFUL like someone peed in it and was out of service half of our stay. My poor elderly mom had to use the flight of stairs and our room was on the 3rd floor so that wasn't convenient. The ice from the ice machine wasn't cold enough. It was half melted. The lobby floor was very sticky and didn't seem clean. The free breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast: soggy prepackaged eggs, rubbery sausages, bread, waffles, some yogurt, fruit and packs of instant oatmeal available for guests. Gotta give props to the nice and polite guy at the front desk that helped our stay more comfortable. This was the best price near Bellaire Blvd but I probably wouldn't visit again.

I was pleased to book two rooms for over 3 weeks at this location and I was impressed! The second day of my stay, I met the carpet cleaner! They actually SHAMPOO the carpets! Housekeeping staff is definitely about their business! Bathrooms are sanitized, not just deodorized! And the beds are SO COMFORTABLE! Comforters and spreads are changed daily! Never worry that someone used the covers before you! You actually want to sleep in! The location is perfect with easy access to Beltway 8, Westheimer for The Galleria, Richmond Ave., and the Westpark Tollway. The complimentary breakfast is adequate and waffles are a staple item every morning. Juice, coffee, and fresh fruit, as you like. AND just in case, there is on-site security protecting your vehicle while you rest!

I found the room dirty; I stayed for two days, but it was never cleaned. The shampoo ran out and was never refilled. I do like the hotel and have stayed there a few times, but I was disappointed this time—the price isn't cheap, yet the service wasn't up to par.

The beds were okay, but the bathroom was disgusting. We also found cockroaches in the room, which was completely unacceptable. The cleanliness was very poor, and the stay was not pleasant. I would not recommend this hotel.
