Our stay at the Sheraton Brookhollow was pretty disappointing. The hotel felt dirty and noticeably under-maintained from the moment we arrived. The gym was a complete miss — most of the equipment was broken or unusable. The pool was borderline freezing, and the hot tub was running without heat and without any kind of warning, which was frustrating. Cosmetically, the entire property is in desperate need of upgrades. Guest services took forever to respond to even simple requests. On top of that, they charge an arm and a leg for breakfast, which really should be complimentary given the condition of the hotel and the high nightly rate. The bathrooms in the rooms felt straight out of the 80s — old, outdated, and honestly reminded me of something you’d find at your uncle’s house… the dirty one. Overall, not worth the price. Would not stay again unless major renovations happen.

I stayed at the Sheraton in Houston while attending a work conference and chose this hotel because it had everything onsite restaurant, bar, and close proximity to my office so I didn’t have to Uber somewhere just to get dinner. The property is a bit older and slightly dated, but it was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the beds and bedding were surprisingly good. The highlight of my stay was the bartender, Eddie Wilson. His level of customer service is exceptional. He truly owns the room in the best possible way connecting with guests, maintaining a positive attitude no matter how busy things get, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks in.

I want to give a huge thank-you to Northon for the outstanding service he has provided. From the very beginning, he has gone above and beyond to accommodate every request I had. I’m in the middle of a cross-country move, which can be incredibly stressful, but Northon made sure I felt welcomed and fully prepared for my stay before I even arrived. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stood out. He took the time to answer all my questions, ensured my room needs were met, and made me feel completely comfortable and at ease. Because of him, all of my worries about the transition disappeared — I know I’ll be in great hands. Exceptional customer service like this is rare, and Northon absolutely deserves recognition. Thank you for making this experience smooth, reassuring, and genuinely welcoming!

I returned to stay at the hotel for a longer stay because during my previous stay they took great care of me. This time despite calling ahead to get the quietest room possible they instead put me in the loudest room in the hotel next to the lounge. 5am smashing, cleaning every morning. They also left off the fridge and microwave I had ordered too. I had praised them previously. As a titanium most Marriotts try and create a great relationship with me over time this one is doing the opposite and scared me away. Bottom line is there is no correlation between what you ask for and what they will deliver and its actually the opposite

I went to Houston for a 1 night vacation on 1/20/2026. The hotel room #634 was super dirty and it smelled awful in the room. When I first got into the hotel room, I turned on the shower, the bathtub drainage pipe hole all the sudden looks like it got clogged up that it filled the tub up with water and when I turned off the water, it was barely draining the water down but took a very long time for it to drain and the shower floor was dirty. The shower water when I adjusted the handle even a little bit, it quickly changes from warm to blazing hot water to super cold water randomly. I still was trying to get the shower on without the bathtub being filled up with water but still the shower water wanted to keep filling up the bathtub, so I gave up and had to wait until I get home from vacation the next day to take a shower. Next things next I noticed that both single chairs were filthy and also I was trying to turn the A/C on so I pressed the button and adjusted the thermostat temperature but the A/C didn't come on until 3 AM so I had to sleep on the concaved mattress without barely any covers on me but woke up the next day at 12 AM on 1/21/2026 since it was super hot in the room and I couldn't fall back asleep until the A/C turned on. After that, when the A/C turned on, I put the covers back on me and fell back asleep again and the room felt extremely cold. I woke up at 7 AM, I went to use the bathroom and realized that the toilet didn't flush the toilet paper down in the toilet from last night. Once I flushed the toilet, the toilet was barely flushing the toilet paper down the toilet that it took more time for the toilet to flush. The A/C turned off by itself again this morning and the room got hot again but when I left the hotel room, the hallway on floor #6 was super hot and the inside of the hotel main area smelled awful especially on floor #1 when I first walked in. I saw the window was cracked at the front lobby. Also, the very last elevator on the left aka the 3rd elevator at the far end smelled like fart when I rode in the elevator. The coffee tasted very awful this morning too btw. I also heard a few weird unexpected noises last night too. Do not stay at this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the absolute worse hotel that I've ever stayed at of any hotels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
