Title: Misleading pricing & unhelpful staff I had a really disappointing experience with this hotel. Online the price was $60, when I called they told me $69.99, and when I arrived in person they suddenly said $85–$90. That’s three different prices for the same room. When I asked if I could just book online for the lower price (which I was ready to do on the spot), they told me they would not honor it or help me with what I needed. The staff was unhelpful and made the situation more frustrating instead of trying to resolve it. This kind of inconsistent pricing feels misleading and unprofessional. If you’re planning to stay here, be very careful and confirm everything in writing before you go.

I was so pleased with this Hotel! We were affected by hurricane be Beryl and we’re displaced from our home due to no power we searched for hours actually days to find a hotel with vacancy after calling around and getting so many disconnected phone lines or so many no open vacancy answers. We finally got in the car and drove around and we found this place hidden behind a waffle house, I figured I would get off and try my luck! The lady at the desk Wasted no time to tell me she had people who were probably going to check out and she would put my name and call me when they did so we went to go eat breakfast and then received a call from her that she had availability we were able to book 2 rooms for me and my little family. The whole process was smooth and they were very affective when it came to getting everything done quickly so that we wouldn’t have to be in this terrible Texas heat. They also did not go up on their prices just due to the national disaster. We only paid $80 a room at that time which was a blessing in disguise. I am forever grateful just as I am sure everyone else who was able to book a room with these guys are. Definitely a family oriented business. I will forever be grateful to the owner/ the lady who helped us when we needed it the most🫶🏻🙏

When we first arrived to the hotel the vibes were extremely un inviting and discriminatory. The Man working at the front desk who claims his name is Hassan watched me and my friend the whole time as we walked to our room through security cameras. Once we got to the room there were only 2 channels on the TV which were both X Rated. The headboard (which is a dark brown so it makes it easier to see) was covered in hand marks likely made from x rated activity and the room had a strong cigarette smell. We then returned to the front desk and asked for a refund as we decided we wanted to leave 10 minutes after checking in, not only was the refund denied but I asked “Hassan” if the rooms were cleaned and explained the situation and he looked me straight in my face and said no. I asked multiple times thinking he possibly didn’t correctly hear the question asked then he proceeded to tell me 3 times that the rooms do not get cleaned. We then decided to find another hotel for the night (even though we were denied a $70 refund) with much better customer service and most especially clean! Do not stay here save your money!

We wound up here as a place to 'sleep it off' after a night of debauchery . We really got "Cake Wasted" !! But this place took our request for a room without a reservation late in the night. The room was ice cold, and the mini fridge held room for our last beers . They took cash and credit. I used cash . They had on-site ice and a working soda machine. A place this cheap usually has a lot to be desired. Dude, you need a spot to crash. Hit them up and get off the road . This place is solid.

The day staff is amazing, but the older middle eastern guy that works overnight always charges more unless he can have "fun" too. Its despicable, and extremely disrespectful. Been coming to this location for almost 8 yrs, for a few hours here and there. This older guy said 2 hrs for $50, or he could discount it to $30 (what i normally pay) if he could "play" too. The rooms aren't worth $50. Their nightly rate is $65-75. (the palace inn blue across the street does 5 hrs for that much & has better beds, nicer rooms, showers, & provides a better experience altogether.) Due to this guy, his comments, his overcharging, and the disrespect I received, I won't be going to that location ever again.
