I have been staying at this location since 2010 so that I can attend the Houston International Quilt Show. Over this time period I have always had a clean room, courteous service and felt safe staying here alone. The family that has the location is so nice and pleasant to everyone. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant stay. This location is great because it has easy access to many restaurants, activities and the quilt show. I highly recommend this location for your next visit to Houston.

Very clean room. Close to downtown. Manager and family are lovely people. I did miss an in-room coffee maker although, coffee was available in office area. On-the- go Snacks would be nice in the office. Thank you.

Where do I start! Hotel desk clerk was rude, rude is one understatement. He was rude to my friend and me when we checked in to this establishment. The second day we got a call saying that we had noise complaints which wasn’t true. The only thing noisy was the old outdated air conditioning unit . The owner claimed he was upset due to the visitors who were coming, two of which were family. The owner threatened to call the cops and said to my friend in the room…I know what you’re doing in the room! I’m lost, is it a crime to have family and friends come visit you while you’re in town? I left that same day and check out wasn’t until the next day. This owner is horrible. This place has cold water not hot. The hotel desk clerk is nasty, and no good customer service. I will be calling the better business bureau next to file another claim. This guy was racist and very rude. I have never been treated like this. If you guys have another place to stay I would…this outdated hotel and rude service don’t go together.

I would not recommend trying book a room here. My room was abruptly cancelled without prior notice just and hour before I was supposed to check in, leaving me without somewhere to stay for the night in a city I'd never visited before. The email said my card information was incorrect. I checked it and it was indeed correct and my funds were sufficient to pay for the room. I tried calling the front desk multiple times and no one ever picked up the phone.

What a great place. Skeptical at first since we are used to fancy chains. This place shows the pride the owner has. Very clean and upkept insides. The outside also had many special details that showed pride. From the fountain, to the cameras, to the landscaping. Very clean outside. Great to see that private ownership and a family business still have a place to prosper in the USA. The noise of the Tram in front of the place is a bit loud at 6am for those light sleepers (not me). Pleasant and friendly staff. Interesting side note, no shampoo or body soap, but for the price of the Motel not a big deal at all.
