I had an urgent, last-minute commitment in Houston and needed to be in close proximity to the medical center. My budget did not allow for expenses exceeding $700, plus parking, to stay directly within the medical center area. I discovered the Rodeway Inn and inspected the exterior before finalizing my reservation. From the outside, the inn appeared satisfactory and was situated in a quiet neighborhood. Regrettably, I neglected to consult the Google reviews for this establishment. I reserved a two-night stay and was assigned room 105. The room presented with a non-functional television, mold within the closet, and insects. While I have experience with various inns, this particular one exhibited a concerning level of disrepair, which is truly unfortunate.

I booked online and paid for the rooms, but check in hella late due to family issues. Upon my arrival the dude claim no room available I was like bruh I paid so you would think my room was secure. HELL NO, IT WASN'T. So I lost my room and 3 days that I paid for to walk away with nothing. Do not book this room the guy will rob you blindly by accidentally on purpose

When I got there I paid for a whole week. Yet the next day staff was banging at my door yelling to pay. Once I addressed them, they didn't bother apologizing. The t.v. was broke, but the front desk claimed that the cable was down. I still wanted a t.v. for local news. No wifi nor a room phone.

DO NOT GO THERE. This place is a disgrace. The room smelled like rotten food. There were bugs! Tiny roaches on the floor next to the bed and a ton of bedbugs in the bed. We had to find another hotel. Still waiting on a refund the guy working the front desk said would happen. Demolish the whole thing.

Demolish the entire building! Musty smell, walls dirty, tub painted, bedding has cigarette burns, stove doesn’t work, slow drainage, ROACHES on wall in kitchen, ceiling, next to bed. We were unaware of infestation and left our food on counter. Roaches were everywhere. The window blinds broken. Towels badly used need replacing. Every inch of this place unsuitable. The only thing NEW was television and that wasn’t working either. We used laptops to watch what we wanted.
