Great place with an excellent location. The staff is truly outstanding — extremely helpful, kind, and caring throughout our stay. A special thanks to the reception team, especially the gentleman with long braided hair and glasses — ( apologies , did not get his name) he was incredibly supportive and professional. I honestly don’t have enough words to thank all of them for such wonderful service. Even managers were welcoming and attentive.........big thanks to alll of you......

I was disappointed with this stay. Needed to stay for a week, so plenty of time to use the place. Good stuff first. Morning breakfast was great especially the little touches like Andouille sausage and fresh fruit, and the kitchen staff were quite welcoming. Room was spacious and comfortable. Biggest issues were security and upkeep. My room was in building 2 and outside door key pads did not work so doors were unlocked. Encountered someone sleeping in staircase first night. Normally wouldn't care but person was forcibly wedging fire escape door shut to sleep. Talked to the desk who said they would mention to security but same guy was at breakfast buffet next day. Phones in rooms didn't work nor did internet through the TV so could not stream Netflix or other. Used weight room, but quite a few weights were missing. Think the biggest problem is that the hotel adjoins a Courtyard by Marriott and both hotels are behind fencing and have installed security gates with keypads but block them open so people and cars can freely enter 24 hours a day. Seems like such an easy fix and wonder why they have security and actively choose not to use it.

This was the worst Residence Inn we have ever stayed at. The hallways smelled unpleasant, the carpets were torn, and it looked as though they hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. We continued on to our room, trying to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt—but it only got worse. The kitchen had no silverware at all—no forks or spoons, just butter knives in the tray—as if they had been taken. The spatulas had dried, crusted food on them, not one but both, they clearly not washed. It was absolutely disgusting. The large dog in the room across from us barked throughout the evening. I love dogs, but knowing that animals are likely allowed on the sofas is very unsettling, especially since I highly doubt the fabric couches are shampooed after each stay. The most concerning issue occurred when we walked across the street to buy groceries. When we returned, we pushed the door open and realized it had never locked. The door lock was broken, and we would not have known if I hadn’t accidentally pushed the door before placing the key against the pad. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. For a Marriott franchise hotel, the condition, cleanliness, and safety were unacceptable. Truly a horrible stay. Staff was very relaxed not interested in helping making a better experience.

Great location and rate. Yet, no luggage carts in other buildings. No safe. Kitchen sink can't take a Pur faucet filter. It floods. I'm allergic to chlorine. I must have water filters on all faucets and the shower. No DND door sign. No sheets available for the crib. Not enough pillows available after dark to supply late comers. In spite of those limitations of the physical property, the customer service folk really tried. Thank you!

This place is not up to the regular Marriott standards I would think, by no means. Not to mention thw roaches. Have stayed in many residence inns and this one falls short. Breakfast area staying wet floors from seems like refrigerator thawing. The workers are apologizing every morning. The place is wore out but I guess as long as it's making money why fix it right.
