We recently stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn in Cypress, Texas, and overall, it was a comfortable experience. The rooms were large, well-appointed, and thoughtfully stocked with useful details like dish soap and utensils. Everything was clean and in good condition, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job throughout our stay. However, there were a few issues that should be addressed: 1. No luggage racks: There were no luggage racks available in the room, which meant we had to place our suitcases directly on the carpet. This was inconvenient and unsanitary, and it made accessing our belongings uncomfortable. 2. Pest issue: During our stay in Room 408, we noticed several small cockroaches in the larval stage coming in and out of the wall area behind the toilet. We observed this multiple times during our visit, which was concerning. 3. Security concern: The door frame to our room had a noticeable gap, large enough that it seemed a simple tool or hanger could be used to open the door. This felt unsafe and should be repaired promptly. We checked out on November 3rd, and while we truly appreciated the staff and the spacious accommodations, these issues detracted from what could have been a perfect stay. Passing through to see family in the area. Hotel is clean and has friendly staff. Breakfast was good, I expected worse due to the reviews. Rooms were comfy and this hotel is pet friendly, even though the pet fee is pretty high at $150. Typically it runs about $25-$75. Overall not a bad stay and would recommend.

The Residence Inn was a great place to stay Suzu and Stephan were wonderful with changing our rooms. This was a great roomy spot to stay and the breakfast was great all the staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was great but a little cold but you get over it when swimming in the pool.

This hotel the most cleanest hotel I ever stayed in. The customer service is excellent! Stephan went the extra mile in accommodating me as a person with a disability. I never felt so welcome and kindness. This hotel is the best you won't be disappointed.

Raymonds team is running a great hotel on the west side of Houston. Stayed here for 6 nights in mid Oct 2025. Indoor pool is nice, could've been warmer, but overall nice way to relax. Countless places to eat within a few miles. It's very clean. Bed was super nice. Will stay here again when needed.
