It was a bit on the expensive side for what it was, but overall, we had a really good stay. The staff was amazing, and the hotel had all the amenities we needed. We had to make a last-minute trip to the Houston area, and I was traveling with my two boys. Since the trip wasn’t planned or budgeted, we tried to keep things as cost-friendly as possible. This hotel made that easy because our room included a stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator and freezer. The main room also had a door separating the living area from the bedroom, which was a huge bonus. Because breakfast was provided, I grabbed a few groceries, and we were able to avoid spending money on restaurant meals during our stay. I brought a blow-up mattress so my youngest and I could sleep in the living area, while my oldest had his own room. We’re all very sensitive to noise, so having separate spaces made a big difference and allowed everyone to rest comfortably. The only downside is that the hotel could use some updating. It wasn’t dirty at all—in fact, it was very well kept for an older property—but renovations would easily take it from a four-star experience to a ten on a five-star scale. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Residence Inn by Marriott Houston Northwest/Willowbrook is a great place to stay. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional, and the property is clean and well-maintained. My only recommendation would be to improve the water pressure in the showers, as it was a bit lacking. Another point to consider is the paid parking. It seems unusual to charge guests for parking while staying on the property, as this is typically included at most hotels. Addressing this could significantly improve the guest experience.

I traveled to this area for work and unfortunately stayed at this property for four nights, which turned out to be a mistake. The check-in process around 6 PM was quick, but it was immediately concerning that the front desk employee was visibly very sick—constantly coughing and sneezing. She mentioned she thought she might have COVID, yet she was not wearing a face mask. While I felt sympathy for her situation, guest health and safety should be a priority. My frustration began that first night. The guests next door played loud music, screamed, banged on the walls, and stomped around until nearly 1:00 AM. The following morning, I reported the issue to the front desk. The customer service was horrible. As I explained my complaint, the employee never looked at me, made eye contact, or acknowledged what I was saying—she stared at her computer the entire time. When she finally responded, she abruptly said there were no rooms available to move me to, making it clear she hadn’t listened at all. She was rude and defensive throughout the interaction. When I asked for a manager’s contact information, she simply pointed to a stack of business cards and said, “There.” Very unprofessional. She worked the morning shift during my stay and gave me unpleasant looks every day afterward. In addition to the noise and poor service, there were roaches in the room, a slow-running toilet, an extremely loud heater unit, and a bathtub that clearly needed deep cleaning or resurfacing. Overall, this was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place and will not be staying here again.

I just want to give credit where credit is due. I have been here the past two weeks for work and the kind woman at the front named Sarah has gone above and beyond with her hospitality and generosity. Ive been struggling with being away from home for my first time traveling. She has chatted with me about my struggles, my work, random things and had made this an overall comforting experience. If an issue happened at any moment. She was very quick to assist me in those moments. I wish more people could be as humble and professional and amazing as she has been. She deserves all the kindness this world has to offer, and I thank her for making houston and the residence inn for being an enjoyable time. Sarah, you rock 🤘

Location is great everything you need is 10 minutes or less. Parking lot lighting is terrible entry and exit doors needs to be updated so that the keys work properly. Staff was great upon my arrival
