Update: I got a call from Hattie but when I called back she was unavailable so I spoke with Brian on my issues. I’m really pleased with the way they handled my concerns and issues. I hated to leave a bad review on this company in general because it is my favorite stay away from home but, again that’s why I choose Marriott because their customer service remains top tier and the staff made me feel heard and I appreciate that most guys! Thanks so much and I appreciate you all so much. I’m so disappointed and disgusted with this Hotel! I did reach out to corporate to voice all my concerns and issues. I really think this particular hotel needs to remember that Customer SERVICE IS EVERYTHING! On top of that the hotel needs an MAJOR UPGRADE Especially when my daughters and I just stayed at another Residence Inn this September for 3 to 4 days and it was the best vacation we ever had. Galveston location is TOP TIER HOTEL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Like it’s unbelievable how much I hate this stay. Corporate will be resolving this issue immediately or I’ll go to BBB! I’m not joking in no kind of way!

No smart television in the room. Just a tiny old tv that didn't even have a guide channel. I'm handicapped and spend most of my time on the road in my hotel room. So in room entertainment is a big deal for me. Rug is disgusting. Bed is tiny. Toilet barely flushes. Avoid this place and stay at one of the others

Customer service was beyond outstanding. Right in the middle of downtown but very accessible to so many venues within walking distance. A big plus, full kitchen in the room plus a great morning complimentary breakfast before you head out.$$$ Definitely recommend!

Rav and his staff were great hosts for my 1 week stay. Comfortable clean room, good variety at breakfast. Hotel conveniently located near light rail and major bus stops, easy walks to theater district and central downtown.

It's a nice place to stay while attending a conference. The rooms are a nice size with a full kitchen. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Everyone on the staff are amazing and willing to go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction.
