At check in time i thought i was going to dislike that hote if all staff there would be like Rocky at the front desk. The front desk staff i expect a welcoming gestures with smiling faces. I walked in smiling and he gave me a serious look without saying a word for a minute then i walked to his counter . I greetes him cheerfully and told him i was used to smiling faces and he replies that he had not seen me and never tried to smile back. The only time i saw him smiling during my stay was when he was talking to a male co-worker one day. I realized maybe it could be cultural. Besides Rocky's bad customer service the hotel has the best house keeping service. The hotel plan or structure is not modern but they keep it super clean. The house keeping is daily. I think most of the times Veronica cleanes my room as if it was her own. She is one of the 2 I have met in my hotel business stays. Everyday after work my room counters,tables and all surfaces looked sparkling super shiny clean. The floors mopped and well vaccumed. They go out of their way. Breakfast is not that good. No variety or choices for sausages are pork only. Though I liked their boiled eggs packaging or service containers were good to grab and go. Overall it is good.

Generally this hotel meets all our needs when we need to stay in the Pasadena area, and this review is no reflection on the great staff there. For the second stay, months apart, The hot water was barely warm even after letting it run for 25 minutes. We talked to the front desk several times. After discharge we learned that when occupancy is low, getting hot water is an issue especially if the room is far from the source. It isn't ok under any circumstances to have to take a cold shower. We try to stay with Marriotts but will not return to this hotel. There’s a Fairfield Inn on Beltway 8 that doesn't have issues with their hot water. Employees and guests deserve better and I'm hoping Marriott corporate steps in and fixes this issue.

The hotel is great but surprised that the rooms are not soundproof based on its location near a busy intersection. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the noise.

The rooms are fine, the staff is nice, but the traffic noise from the adjacent highway is AWFUL! Even with ear plugs, I might have gotten 4 hours of sleep. I won't be back.

I stay with my wife and 3 kids rooms are really comfortable, staff is very friendly breakfast is good I would stay there for our next vacations
