Quality Inn Pasadena Houston

Okay, the hotel is old. It looks like an old hotel, it smells like an old hotel. My room was pretty clean, I didn’t have mold or dark spots on ceiling like some other people mentioned in the reviews. It was a lot of rust though, basically on every metal surface. I was there for training for 2 weeks, my room was cleaned 2 times a week and my towels were replaced same day it was cleaned. I didn’t like that they didn’t have sheet underneath the comforter. Otherwise bed was fine. My AC filter was clean as well, so no issues here. Breakfast was the same every day. Bacon (1 time it was sausage), eggs and potatoes. Yogurt, boiled eggs, some bread and fruit. I got tired pretty fast and I had my own food the second week. I ran into few issues; My room key would stop working few times and the day I arrived it didn’t work at all and they were supposed to fix it next morning, but I had to remind them when I came back in evening. Also the first day I came in my bath mat was soaked and folded on a side, idk what was that about, but it got replaced. And ceiling above my bathtub was leaking few times (I guess when person above was taking a shower). I was chill about all of it, communication was easy and everything was taken care of, but I can see how for some people it would be big of a deal, so I wanted to share. Overall it was okay stay, but I don’t think I would go back on my own.

The new employee at the front desk was very unprofessional. I’ve been a guest at this hotel since 2016, so being told I had to pay an extra $50 just to check in one hour early was disappointing and unreasonable. Save your money and stay next door at the Holiday Inn—they seem to appreciate their regular guests more.

NEW ACHIEVEMENT: “TEMPORARY INN SURVIVOR” Stayed here 4 days while the semi was down at the dealership. Overall not too bad, room was decent and got the job done. 🥓 Bonus Buff: Breakfast of the Road Warrior Best part of the stay, solid breakfast every morning that made it worth it. 🏆 Verdict: Not a bad place to land when your truck’s out of commission. Would stay again if needed.

Rooms were clean and tidy. Very cooperative and professional staff. Very good hotel for the purpose it serves. I would stay again. It was given more than the prize paid.

I had a very negative experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was very poor from the beginning. When I entered the room, there was already an unpleasant smell. In the bathroom, I found hair in the sink and it was clear that the shower had not been properly cleaned. The bed was also in bad condition — the sheets were wrinkled as if they had already been used, and there were hairs on them, which gave the impression that they had not been changed for the next guest. Another disappointing point was the lack of room service. I stayed for 3 days and at no time were the towels or bed sheets changed. The breakfast area was also not clean, and the coffee was very weak with very few options available. To make matters worse, I did not like the location — the neighborhood is not pleasant. Overall, I had a terrible stay and would not recommend this hotel.
