Palacio Royale Inn Boutique

I have stayed here twice and for the price it is not bad. The lot is small but it shares a lot with the sister property right next door. Microwave and minifridge were clean. Yes there is noise from the freeway so I ask for the furthest room to the back fence but with the door closed and a/c on its not crazy bad. Location is good being right off freeway and close to mall and attractions 1000 food options. Taking off star due to not having extra towels all the time and bad breakfast even though it is free its later in the morning.

BROCKEN FRIDGE, ROACH, and MOLD. Only gave two star because they “helped” us with a last minute check in due to all other local hotels were booked completely. Although upon entering the room there was a disassembled refrigerator was not working at all, along with a dead roach, and on one of the walls there was moisture and/or mold attempted to hide behind furniture but was very evident as all shown in the photos. Also was charge $360 a night, not reasonable price for this place. After trying to resolve there was poor customer service, refused to resolve and stated the reason for the things found was because they are “remodeling,” which assume could be true since rest of hotel didn’t seem bad but still over priced and this room definitely was not rentable and shouldn’t have been if still “remodeling.”

Booked a room for 10 days for my sons wedding. The gym equipment was broken down and the breakfast ever day was hard boil eggs toast and stale cold cereal. The only good item was the home made waffles. The coffee was watered down also. The tv in room wasn't working. And the building smells like water damage. The gym is important for my son and I and that wasn't even attended to properly. Laundry room did not work and I was sent across street to there other facility to wash clothes and there machines were outside dirty I did ot want to put my clothes in there.

It was pretty clean and the hot water pressure was outstanding. The beds were somewhat saggy. Sheets and pillows were decent. The room definitely had some wear and tear. No hair dryer until I asked and then I had to walk to another building to get it The room was the perfect temperature when I arrived which was awesome; the AC worked well. No cups were provided even though there was an ice bucket. There was no coffee maker but there was a small microwave and a mini refrigerator. Very flimsy blanket, no duvet or comforter.

Big thing is to bring earplugs because the highway noise that you can hear right inside your room since your right next to the highway pretty much. Other than that, it’s a cheap minimally cleaned room almost like a motel. Breakfast free but it sucks.
