TL;DR: A hotel staff member was extremely aggressive and frightening over a misunderstanding of their specific location policy. Claimed he could deny refund until I said I was reporting him for his behavior and then changed tunes. All in all terrible experience late at night as a young woman. I made a reservation here last night and typically I have nothing but rave about Palace Inn, though I’ve never stayed here. That being said, I’ve reported this location for the treatment I received, despite being a devote customer for years now. The staff came and banged on my door incessantly after I walked in and barely settled. I know hotel pounds the door, but this was like the police were coming to raid the place and take me in. I opened the door hesitantly and fearfully. He proceeded to yell at me and motion at me while I stood still slightly behind the door. Yelling at me that there’s a policy about whatever. Honestly, every Palace Inn location may vary and have differing policies and that’s just understood. What’s not understood is behaving so violently over it let alone getting to that level in the first place with a customer. It was unacceptable and a terrible experience after such a long day. My heart was beating out of my chest and I genuinely thought at one point he was gonna lay hands on me. Finally when I said let’s handle this at the front because I’m gonna call and report you, he backed up and said he didn’t want to be arguing with me like this and had no reason to. Mind you I was in no way arguing or trying to reason with him, as soon as I got my senses back from the shock, I said what I said, told him I’d report him, and he started walking to the front. Sure enough, he gave me the quickest refund, despite the fact that one of the things he yelled at me was “you need to get out of here now, no refund, get out or I’m calling the police” which he said a few times over in that moment that I’d be getting no refund. I hope my report does something because I’ve enjoyed my stays at most Palace Inn’s, but employing someone and keeping them on who abuses their little bit of power and has no self control or regulation is only going to reflect poorly on the company and drive clients away. I tried to get the guys name because if I had gotten it I would’ve posted it here, but it was an older Indian gentleman, the other Indian gentleman there was very nice, the nice guy was shorter than the other, idk if that helps anyone be wary but here’s hoping. I would’ve gladly heard him out if he had knocked, even pounded like hotel staff do (not like the feds!), and he had just explained the situation and I probably wouldn’t have even had to leave because we could’ve resolved it, but no instead he resorted to aggression right off the bat.

I was here for two weeks and i can say thus is the best place you can find, is very clean and the staf is very welcome and also the ladys that clean the room the are so proffesional i didnt see in other places to clean your room in that way. I was in room 214 and everything was good and thank you from the staff.

If I could rate 0 stars for service I would. Booked a room for the night with my fiance, no issues. Her sister brought us dinner and suddenly the manager came banging on the door telling us to leave or he calls the cops. He kicked us out cause we let someone drop off something? Terrible behavior, would highly recommend anywhere but here.

Not in a nice location. Lady worker came out and yelled at us with an attitude when we were just lost. I would avoid if you are looking for good service.

We got a room for two and weren't even planning on spending the night, just hanging out with a couple friends, and the guy at the desk stares at us for a solid 5 minutes from his window before following us to the room to tell us we have to pay for a room with two beds if we want more than two people (us) to be in the room. The guy then threatens to call the cops after we question him about it. Needless to say we will not be staying here and we recommend that you don’t either. The guy at the desk is a penny-pinching creep who you should most definitely not do business with.
