OYO Hotel Houston Southwest I-69

I've stayed here for days at a time on multiple occasions and never had any issues! The staff is nice and they enforce their ID policy which gives me peace of mind. There is also security at night which is great so I don't have to worry too much about my car. They have inexpensive washers and dryers that work well. The rooms don't have a smell to them. The water pressure in the shower and sink are good. I did find a roach one time but it's Houston what do you expect lol. You can tell they do clean the rooms thoroughly. They also have a big pool which ive never been in but they do keep it very clean. There are a lot of places near such as a gas station, food, and a walmart. The prices are cheap so that's a huge plus. It does look a bit sketchy but I've never felt unsafe! As long as you mind your business and keep to yourself you shouldn't have any issues. Also, not sure if this is still a thing but at night around 11 I believe, they do block the street but you can get around the block by going a different way pretty easy.

Place a reservation at 10 AM have to cancel the reservation at 12 PM and was told that we cannot refund we will have to cancel the reservation at 9 AM, but that’s impossible when we did. The reservation at 10 policies was not disclose upon booking, but they want to relate. They want to resort to the policies they need to be more clear is best to just dispute it which your bank because it is wasting time trying to dispute it with them.

Outstanding service and location. The rooms are not perfect. But its highly maintained for such an old location of 2 stars tier. Amazing customer service and their security is top nothch! The provided aminities are decent and functional. A laundry room with washing and dryer machines with only $2.5 for washing and $ 2 for drying. The pool is clean and nice but its winter. And the location is great near I- 69 SW Highway. Walking distance gas station convenience store and a BK. WALLY JO'S THUMBS-UP

Luckily, I was only there to make a delivery to 1 of the customers of mine. The place smells like a juvenile detention center that has no adult supervision. They expect the guests of the guests to stop in the office and show ID but then they have one person working, and a line full of people and I am just there to drop something off to a customer that ordered over a delivery app. If I don't have this type of issue at any other establishment, why do I have it at the oyo, a k a "oh no." The very best part of the entire situation was the actual person that I was delivering to because that person was very kind and was probably the best customer I'll have all day. Both with the kindness and the generosity in the tip. For his sake, I pray that he gets out of that halfway motel asap. I would not suggest any female staying there by herself. And I would not suggest to stay there without reading other reviews too.

I made a reservation and paid 5 days before I showed up. When I got there the day the winter storm started. I was told they had no vacancy. Although they were saling rooms while I was getting in touch with Expedia because I had reserved a room and paid for it 5 days before I showed up. They cancelled my reservation after I had arrived. That should tell you everything you need to know about OYO.
