Omni Houston Hotel

I had a very disappointing experience during my recent stay at the Omni. While staying there, a diamond necklace and diamond earrings went missing from my room. The items were inside a zippered pouch in my Lululemon bag, and I know they were there before we left for an event. When I reported the issue and filed a claim with the hotel, the response from Loss Prevention felt very dismissive. I was told they would review video footage, but the response came back extremely quickly, which made it seem unlikely that a meaningful investigation actually took place. Within minutes I was essentially told that I should have used the in-room safe. I also requested the key card entry log for the room. The hotel refused to provide it, stating that it was confidential, and instead simply claimed that I was the only person who entered the room. Without transparency, that explanation was frustrating and difficult to trust. Aside from the missing items, the property itself also feels quite dated and in need of renovation. The rooms feel old and somewhat worn, and overall the hotel did not feel especially clean or well maintained. I understand that hotels cannot guarantee the safety of every item, but the way this situation was handled left me feeling like my concern was not taken seriously. Better communication and a more transparent investigation would have gone a long way.

Good resort style hotel on its own little oasis near Galleria district in Houston. We were in town for cheer and happy with its location in relation to where we needed to go, the convention center and galleria mall with teenage girls. The rooms are very clean and crisp, however the colors are dark and it all feels a bit outdated. We were surprised by this especially after checking in, the lobby, pool area, gym areas are all great. Service was great. Chloe at the front desk was able to help us fix some of the logistics of our reservation. She also went the extra mile when we desired to change our room type. She was our first interaction with staff at the hotel and really made a great impression on my family and me. Chloe was very friendly, patient, and thoughtful when handling the few issues we had. When back in Houston, we would definitely come back.

This hotel has been an amazing experience! This is how service should still be in the world. The front desk is amazing and so sweet, the valet is wonderful and always remembers who we are and what car is ours. We have been going through a rough time right now and staying in the hotel during a move transition, they have made us feel like family and at home and reminded us that there are still good people in this world. I can’t recommend this hotel enough due to the amazing staff. It’s not just one employee that stands out it’s all of them.

This is how hotels used to be. Every employee who saw me either greeted or welcomed me. The experience just got better from there. Quick, expert service. Quiet, clean, luxurious rooms. The food was fantastic. I wish every hotel had this level of classiness - it costs nothing to treat your customers like you are happy they are there.

We had an excellent stay at Omni Houston and was extremely pleased overall. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The hotel staff were very accessible, courteous, and truly accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and offered at a very reasonable price, which was a great bonus. The hotel parking had ample space; although parking was paid, it was convenient and well-organized. The pool was another highlight—heated to a comfortable 84°F, crystal clear, and with a very low chlorine level, making it perfect for a relaxing swim. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly recommend this hotel to others.
