I stay here every other weekend with my son and we always feel welcomed, safe, and very comfortable, especially for the rates. Lots of cable channels, quiet area, microwave and mini fridge in room. The new ownership is very dedicated to making guest feel taken care of. Nothing like the environment of last owners...no drugs, no loitering, no negative stuff allowed. We have stayed at most of the motels on 1960, and this is where we return to.

***WARNING*** Do not rent a room from these crooks. Its a complete scam. The pictures on google maps don't look anything like the actual rooms. If you don't believe me ask them to allow you to see a room before you rent it out. If you call about the rates they will give you a cheap rate but once you get there its another story. I was visiting from out of town and they told me that I couldn't have visitors. The owner told me that my wife or mother couldn't be there or I would have to pay a extra 20 dollars. These people are money hungry crooks. They cater to crack heads, (used condoms & drug syringes are all over the parking lot) they said they don't allow pets but the people in the room next door had a pet and I have pictures to prove it. The rooms are old, they stink, they have bed bugs, the carpet stink and probably haven't been cleaned since the place open, the televisions are old, its roach infested, the lighting in the room is horrible. This place is run down and a haven for crime. Don't let the outside fool you. If you don't believe me go see for your self. The owner came to my room with a golf club in his hand "never bring a knife to a gun fight" that's all I'm saying. The staff are rude, but when you confront them they threaten to call the police. They will not give you a refund. You have been warned.

The Internet never works. The people staying in the hotel live there. Drugs and alcohol are bad. My family ended up here because of hurricane Harvey. We have been here for 4 months it has been a horrible experience. Good to know a new owner took over during our stay. Maybe he can make some good changes. It's hopefull

The hotel has Wi-Fi that's the only benefit. The was not clean and there was no towel. The rags were dirty so I bought my own. The bed had someone else's hair on the pillows. The sink was not clean. The floor hadn't been vacuumed. I had to stay here for military reasons but do not recommend for any reason.

This place is trashy! There was no toilet paper or soap- shampoo. The owner's are thieves, we paid for a room for 2 weeks and they gave us no receipt and on checkout day nobody knocked on the door or called to tell us it was time to check out then a day and a half later they stopped us leaving and said we owed for 2 days so we told them we will try to get the money and t that we would be back but we weren't able to get the money and when we came back they said we can't have our stuff back until we give them money.
