Motel 7

I would love to know how this place is even standing. First I’ll address the “gentleman” at check in who was extremely rude once I told him who I was and what company I was with (female in a male dominated field). Not the first time I’ve received rudeness due to this but whatever. I specifically stated we needed a nonsmoking room. I get the keys and the room smelled worse than my grandparent’s house who were both heavy smokers in the 90s. Room isn’t the cleanest but I’ve been in worse but there aren’t any bed bugs and the bathroom is passable even though there’s hair in the sink, toilet, and shower. The floor obviously hadn’t been swept/mopped in a while either. Go to turn on lights and only two work, once again not the end of the world but an annoyance. Water pressure in the shower is nonexistent and water is lukewarm at best. Given the attitude I received at the front desk it’s not worth even saying anything. We get settled and then we notice the ceiling but hey, it’s not raining so hopefully all will be fine. At some point last night another part of the ceiling, once it did start raining, fell in. Icing on the cake is I get up this morning to use the bathroom and find two roaches in the bathroom and another one at the sink. If we could go elsewhere, we would, unfortunately pet friendly hotels are few and far between so here we sit until our semi is fixed. Needless to say, I never expect much from a motel 6 but this is by far the worst room I’ve stayed in, at this chain and elsewhere!

My baby's crib was destroyed by the hotel staff, and that is absolutely not okay. The crib cost me $145. When I brought it up, I was offered $30 in quarters and told it wasn't worth more than that. I even asked if they had a cot I could use because that's the only place my baby likes to sleep, but now she has no bed at all. The tall guy at the front desk claimed they called us, but there is no call log, and I'm confident no call was ever made. Hotels have ways to document calls, so that excuse doesn't make sense. What makes this even worse is that they disposed of my property only about an hour after we checked out. They didn't give anyone a reasonable chance to come back for forgotten belongings. There should have been an effort to contact us and follow proper procedures before destroying someone's property. If you're a smoker, you might like this place. But if you don't like roaches, unpleasant odors, and poor customer service, think twice. The stay was okay until they ruined my property and failed to properly handle a guest's belongings.

Bed is OK. Lighting is miserable. Maintenance is non existent. Staff prepare morning coffee. This is good. I requested from staff to fix my lighting issue. They didn't move a finger or call maintenance for two nights (out of three nights I am staying). One very important thing. Motel address on website is wrong. Make sure to call the front desk to get the correct address.

It was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in my life. Completely full of cockroaches, and I mean FULL. They were everywhere. On bathroom, walls, even on bed, I easily killed 30 of them. The ac had an awful smell when you turn the heat. I got very sick staying there for 3 nights and I'm completely sure it had to do with the room. My room didn't even have toilet paper. I am shocked that a place like this have a license to operate. No hot water. Please if you're reading this do not stay at this hotel it is a health hazardous

Booked a non-smoking room and walked in to one of the more smoke-smelling rooms we've ever had and a cigarette burn on the bedsheets. The fridge was also making terribly annoying clunking sounds the whole time. At least it's only 10 minutes away from downtown, but one of the sketchier possible areas and no other real redeeming qualities besides the three fast food places you can walk to.
