Motel 6 Houston Brookhollow

As a frequent traveler, I've stayed at many Studio 6 locations and other notable hotel chains. I can say this was my worst experience. I paid regular price for a two-bed suite, but the location was very rundown in every way. It felt like a discount or bargain bin experience, and the price should have reflected that. I was only there for an overnight stay; otherwise, I would have definitely looked for a better place. Upon arrival, I had to change rooms three times. The first had non-functional stove and microwave, the second had stoves that wouldn't turn off. The third room had working appliances, but the bathtub had stains. The rooms were basic with an odd layout. The small restroom had the sink outside, next to the kitchen sink, which I found unsanitary. The bed frame was bare metal and slipped, making sleep uncomfortable. Thankfully, I didn't see any roaches. While advertised as a suite with a kitchenette, it was disappointing to find no cutlery, plates, pots, or basic kitchenware. This defeats the purpose of having a kitchenette, and we were forced to purchase the essentials at an added expense from a local Walmart. The check-in staff was courteous and responsive. The maintenance guy was efficient, though lacking in courtesy, and promptly addressed appliance issues and room changes. The area is generally considered rundown, so be aware of the surroundings and people. Overall, I will avoid this location on my next trip to Houston and may try other hotel chains for a better experience.

Great location great price appliances actually work so does the ac as well loved the front desk always friendly and fast and professional same rules as usual for a hotel just be respectful and you'll be fine I already said good location but good location quiet other people seem ok it's gated only one way in and out safety in the middle of town office up front

One of my favorite hotels. Rooms are spacious and clean. Everything is up to date and in good condition. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Best place to stay at 💯 The owners are amazing people very sweet and welcoming❤️ Love staying here, it's nice and quiet. The rooms are very clean and the place is dog friendly which is an awesome bonus 🥰

This has been the greatest experience since I started traveling. The staff are friendly and very polite. They are pet friendly and even gave my dog a treat. That was unexpected. Usually hotels don't like your pets. I truly recommend this hotel for your travels. The staff and Mr Shives are wonderful. Thank you guys again for a wonderful stay!
