First thing is that this has been changed to RODEWAY INN! So when looking for it, it is no longer named Merry Inn. Rooms were clean and decent but the fridge in our room smelled really foul when opened. Needless to say, even though we needed it, we didn't use it. We just kept to our cooler. Prices are anywhere from $55/night to $75/night depending on what night you stay. Saturday nights are $75/night. I was concerned that there are not bed bug covers over the mattress. That is my biggest fear when staying in motels and I always check for that! We checked this place as well. We didn't find any bugs but my son found what could've been a shed skin from one, which made us really nervous. Because of that, I didn't sleep well but we only needed one night before heading to Galveston.

The prices are $63 a night.. The rooms are nice. They have a refrigerator and microwaves are only in a few random rooms. Small laundry facilities that charge $2 per load on-site the hotel. Single bed rooms have a sofa and it has a pull out bed. The housekeeping will walk right in your room everyday without even knocking 1st. Even when they do knock they only do once without stating it's them and open the door right after. There is nothing in the office either for you to use to heat up your food.

After the renovation, they changed a lot. The service here is awesome. I guy at the front desk is awesome.
