The words basic and economy come to mind in regard to lodging here. I am disappointed that the rooms lack refrigerators of any kind and both rooms that I have been in had inoperable vent fans in the bathrooms. The buildings are old, but it is obvious that management tries to offer a comfortable and clean room for a budget price. The beds are great and the windows do indeed open, unlike most motels nowadays. The staff are helpful and friendly. If you're looking for an extended stay, it's just $350/wk or $900/mo in advance. For the area of Houston that it's in, that's an incredible bargain!

The room was clean, the parking lot felt safe. It was quiet. I needed a cheap place to sleep and this fit perfectly. Breakfast was disappointing as it was all sugar cereal and mini bagels with out any fruit. The coffee tasted just fine. I would stay there again.

You get what you pay for. However, even though this place is cheap, this place is a bargain. Rooms have adjustable AC/heat that works pretty good. Windows open(rare these days), beds are not bad. Sheets are comfortable. Rooms are clean and so are the bathrooms. The tv's are straight out of the 90's-00's and only have like 35 channels but is to be expected at this price. Location is good and is relatively quiet for the proximity to i10.

I just stayed here for a week, and going into my time there, I was nervous because I had read such awful reviews. Here's my experience: For what I paid, this was a nice place to stay. When you pay under $40/night, you know you're not staying at the Hilton. Room was comfortable, it had a place to shower and a TV. No cockroaches or other bugs. It was really good for what I paid and the location is not really far from anything!

This place is so bad, I asked for my money back and left. Check in was quick and easy but upon entering my room, I saw a place unfit to live in. The bed spread, sheets and pillow cases had holes in them and bugs were crawling on the bed. The shower was spraying in all sorts of directions, the toilet seat was not attached to the toilet. The outside air temperature was 29 degrees and heater did not work, plus was almost entirely rusted and in 2 pieces. The room was very cold due to the window not being able to shut all the way. The sink worked though...
