I had a pretty good stay on my visit to Houston. The place is pretty close to the medical center for those who want to visit for the hospital and they offer free shuttle within a 3 miles from the hotel which was good but make your at the front every hour to catch a ride. The room was pretty good. As always when I visit a hotel I always check for pest and stain which for the most part are clean except for the one couch but other than that It pretty clean. The TV and the cable is low quality and bad sound which was one of the low lights of the stay and I didn't check to see if they had free breakfast but they do have a concession area to buy snack. Overall the stay was pretty good and highly recommend for those looking to be close to the Texas Medical Center with free shuttle.

If you are looking for an exceptionally clean, newly remodeled, safe hotel with a fantastic staff and affordable rooms, this is your place! I could not be more pleased with my entire experience. The grab and go breakfast was so convenient, as well as having water and coffee throughout the day for guests. The shuttle was extremely helpful for traveling to appointments at MDAnderson. The front desk staff deserve extra recognition, as they were who I dealt with the most. They were very attentive to our needs and always extremely nice! I will definitely be back!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The handicap room was very taxing as it was one of the furthest from the elevator. The commode was very low and hard to get up from, the bar was the only saving grace! The shower had no pressure and hard to get a nice shower. The rooms were outdated, furnishings uncomfortable. No breakfast at a Choice hotel?? Really!! TV was very limited on channels.

I had an exceptional experience during our stay, and I truly can’t thank the hotel manager Keila.B enough for her kindness and support. My truck broke down while we were at Texas Children’s Hospital, and being 6 hours away from home with no family nearby made the situation very stressful. The manager went completely out of her way to help us by finding a mobile mechanic, which made a huge difference during such a difficult time. Her compassion and willingness to help meant more than I can express. On top of that, our stay was incredibly comfortable. The beds were cozy, the room was well-equipped, and after a long, stressful day, we especially appreciated that the AC was nice and cold—it made it easy to finally relax and get some rest. I’m beyond grateful for the care and hospitality we received. It truly turned a tough situation into a much more manageable and comforting experience.

The staff was nice and attentive. They reprogrammed the safe so that it could be used. However, the room was kind of rough. There was a hole in the floor tiles, the deadbolt lock to the other room was engaged but the deadbolt knob fell off. The TVs were bolted to the furniture, and o e of the TV remotes did not work. It had batteries and lit up when actuated, but didnt do anything for the bedroom TV. The AC in the bedroom was a standalone. It worked well, but the vents couldnt be adjusted. They hit the foot of the bed and thats it. The bed had a sheet metal frame, and it would pop when I got into bed. The sheets and pillows were clean. But the outlets were blocked on my side of the bed, and on other side, there was no outlet. The outlet in living room was about to fall off.. I didnt mess with it. Lastly, the sofas looked a little janky.. they looked stained, dirty on the arm rests and top of the back. The area was rough. I thought bc it was at Medical Plaza, it would be a nice area, but I was greatly mistaken. Ill be downtown next time. The hotels are nicer there.
