If you need just a shower and a cheap place to lay your head down well ... it works. We have been to far better La Quintas for sure. Parking was fine. Easy access to I-10. Basically most things were broken or had damage. The front elevator was not working. Now the back elevator was working but wow the sounds it made were a wee bit scary. Let's just say when your hubby says " get out quick before it falls", while partially in gest, does imply some of the issues we uncovered. There was a door on our floor that looked like someone had used a crowbar to force it open. Yikes! Why who knows but that was interesting The room was clean though very worn. Tub pealing, paint issues, cracks, no stopper in the sink so be careful ladies, if you drop anything small into the sink it is gone! The attendants were very sweet and helpful. The A/C worked great. The pillows were no bueno. The bed ok. For the price, it was workable.

⭐ Worst hotel experience of my life – DO NOT STAY HERE ⭐ This hotel is extremely low quality and completely unsafe. From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong. The tall male front desk clerk on the afternoon shift was hostile, rude, and getting angry over everything. The elevator was broken, the room keys did not work, and there were constant problems with payment. Because of all these issues, we asked to cancel. We never stayed even one minute — we didn’t have working keys and never entered a room. Despite this, he threatened to charge us for two nights (out of a three-night reservation) and then called the police on us. Even the police officer warned us that this hotel is NOT safe and that car break-ins are very common in this area. We left immediately, and thank God we did. This place is a nightmare, completely unprofessional, and dangerous. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else.

The room itself was clean, but the service was very disappointing. The night receptionist was very slow, and we had to repeatedly ask for basic things instead of being proactively helped. The worst experience was with housekeeping and lost items. My brother accidentally left a shirt in the room after checkout. We called the hotel right away, but no one answered the phone. We ended up driving back two hours after checking out to retrieve it. When we arrived, they asked for ID and the receipt as proof before checking for the lost item, which was understandable. However, after all that, they told us they “didn’t have it.” It was just a shirt, so we left, but I honestly cannot believe a hotel wouldn’t keep a guest’s forgotten belongings even for a couple of hours after checkout. Clean room, but poor service and very unprofessional handling of guest property. I would not stay here again.

The room was spacious, clean and smelled good. The staff were great! Very helpful and friendly. The parking lot was dark and a bit creepy. The back door was locked and the front elevator was out of service so it was stairs the whole time but my room was on 2 so it wasn't a big deal. Priced quite well. Nice hiking trail behind the hotel.

Very Disappointing Experience Check-in was extremely slow, and I had to provide my card details twice despite booking through the hotel’s app. The elevator and 4th-floor corridor smelled strongly of dog urine, causing nausea for our entire group, including kids and a toddler. We reported this, but no action was taken. The room had a constantly leaking tap and sticky, unhygienic carpets. Breakfast was poorly managed—items like muffins were gone by 9 a.m. even though service was until 10, with no refills. Overall, poor cleanliness, maintenance, and staff response made this an unacceptable stay.
