The front desk lady was incredible — she went above and beyond checking us in late and helping every time our keys stopped working. Everyone we met was kind, and I genuinely hate to leave a bad review, but there were just too many issues to ignore. The entire hotel smells like weed. The wiring can’t possibly be up to code — there’s one light switch that controls everything, including the wall plugs, so if you turn the lights off, your phone stops charging. Some wall outlets also had exposed wiring. The doors are hard to close, the bathroom door doesn’t lock, and the front elevator is broken, meaning you have to walk all the way to the back. Unfortunately, the back elevator sounds like it’s grinding against the walls every time it moves — it doesn’t feel safe at all. Outside, there’s barely any lighting, which makes it feel creepy at night, and none of the back doors open, so you’re forced to go through the front every time. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and the water never got hot — lukewarm at best. The room phone didn’t work, and we found groups of dead gnats in several places. The beds are old and lumpy, and I booked a king bed but ended up with a full. The TV is tiny, and the whole place just feels worn out. The price was great, and I get the appeal — but in my opinion, you’re better off paying a little more for a place that’s clean, comfortable, and actually functional.

Terrible experience. DO NOT STAY HERE. There is a $100, per a room deposit they won’t mention till check in. Fine. Just show it upfront. They’ll let you pay cash to get it back faster which seems sketchy itself. They just leave a handwritten note to “track” this and get your deposit back. The front desk representative was nice enough but man, he’s set up for failure. The exterior was very dirty. Plants growing out of the gutters. Dirty roof, broken doors. The front entrance elevator was broken, the other one is clear across the hotel and was close behind that first one in breaking. Buttons were sticky. Literal branches in the elevator? We had to switch rooms TWICE. The first room had non-working lights and the TV didn’t work. The door was stuck and wouldn’t close properly. The picture frame was smashed and the curtains were very dirty. We just reported the problems and he added the room to a massive list of “TV reports” on a piece of paper he had. He offered us a new room. Second room, smelled weird. Floor was soaked. As you can see in the photo, there was a MASSIVE leak in the ceiling. Water was freely dripping to the floor. New room after he came to confirm we weren’t lying. Third room was fine. Still a little aged and not super clean. The curtains were pretty nasty. The AC “worked” but had cracks and did not look cleaned recently. We went to bed, woke up and the sheet was loose, the mattress was covered in stains and had mold on it as you can see in the picture. Checked out so fast. Will never return and suggest you don’t either. Breakfast wasn’t ready at the displayed time. The overall vibe of the hotel was terrifying. Do not stay here.

If you need just a shower and a cheap place to lay your head down well ... it works. We have been to far better La Quintas for sure. Parking was fine. Easy access to I-10. Basically most things were broken or had damage. The front elevator was not working. Now the back elevator was working but wow the sounds it made were a wee bit scary. Let's just say when your hubby says " get out quick before it falls", while partially in gest, does imply some of the issues we uncovered. There was a door on our floor that looked like someone had used a crowbar to force it open. Yikes! Why who knows but that was interesting The room was clean though very worn. Tub pealing, paint issues, cracks, no stopper in the sink so be careful ladies, if you drop anything small into the sink it is gone! The attendants were very sweet and helpful. The A/C worked great. The pillows were no bueno. The bed ok. For the price, it was workable.

The woman at the front desk was amazing — friendly, patient, and helpful, even when our key cards kept malfunctioning and she had to keep reprogramming them. Everyone we met was kind, which makes me feel bad leaving a poor review. But kindness doesn’t make up for the condition of this hotel. The building smells heavily of weed, and the rooms are full of issues. The single light switch controls every outlet and light, so you can’t charge your phone without keeping the lights on. The bathroom door doesn’t lock, the main doors stick, and the front elevator is broken — so you have to use the one in the back that sounds like it’s grinding against the walls. It’s honestly unsettling. The water pressure was weak, and the water never got hot — lukewarm at best. The phones in the room didn’t work, and there were dead gnats around the bathroom and nightstand. The outside area is poorly lit, and none of the back doors open, so you’re forced to go through the front every time. We booked a king bed but ended up with a full. The bed was lumpy, uncomfortable, and the TV was tiny. Between the cold showers, constant key issues, and the general lack of maintenance, it just wasn’t a pleasant stay. The price was definitely appealing, and I can see how that might make it worth it for some — but personally, I’d recommend spending a little more for somewhere clean, comfortable, and safe.

⭐ Worst hotel experience of my life – DO NOT STAY HERE ⭐ This hotel is extremely low quality and completely unsafe. From the moment we arrived, everything went wrong. The tall male front desk clerk on the afternoon shift was hostile, rude, and getting angry over everything. The elevator was broken, the room keys did not work, and there were constant problems with payment. Because of all these issues, we asked to cancel. We never stayed even one minute — we didn’t have working keys and never entered a room. Despite this, he threatened to charge us for two nights (out of a three-night reservation) and then called the police on us. Even the police officer warned us that this hotel is NOT safe and that car break-ins are very common in this area. We left immediately, and thank God we did. This place is a nightmare, completely unprofessional, and dangerous. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else.
