If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First impressions, “oh this won’t be that bad. It’s only one night”. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The check in process took forever. When booking over then phone I was told it was a pet friendly hotel, yet at the desk there was a no pet policy. But when I asked about it, the front desk said oh we can allow pets, it’s just a $200 pet fee. Which I was told I’d get refunded all but $50. I had a 6 week old baby and 2 cats with me, so too little too late to make other reservations elsewhere. I paid the fee. Still thinking it can’t get any worse, when I got to my room it was musty, the tv didn’t work, and neither did the phone. There were hairs in the shower. The only positive I can say thus far is there weren’t any bed bugs. And my car didn’t get broken into over night. There was also no evidence of the pet fee refund on the receipt. If you have made reservations here, cancel and find somewhere else to stay.

I arrived to check in & there was no one at the front desk; I waited for about 5 minutes then called the hotel, no answer. There was a very loud humming sound so I walked around the corner & their was a refrigerator with a note on it saying it was out of order. After about 10 minutes someone finally appeared; the receptionist was actually really nice. I was ready to check in but then I was told the TV's were not working; that's not a big deal for me, but there were too many things wrong at the location, so I simply canceled the reservation. The one nice thing about this hotel branch is canceling your reservation is quite simple online.

The front desk lady was incredible — she went above and beyond checking us in late and helping every time our keys stopped working. Everyone we met was kind, and I genuinely hate to leave a bad review, but there were just too many issues to ignore. The entire hotel smells like weed. The wiring can’t possibly be up to code — there’s one light switch that controls everything, including the wall plugs, so if you turn the lights off, your phone stops charging. Some wall outlets also had exposed wiring. The doors are hard to close, the bathroom door doesn’t lock, and the front elevator is broken, meaning you have to walk all the way to the back. Unfortunately, the back elevator sounds like it’s grinding against the walls every time it moves — it doesn’t feel safe at all. Outside, there’s barely any lighting, which makes it feel creepy at night, and none of the back doors open, so you’re forced to go through the front every time. The water pressure in the shower was weak, and the water never got hot — lukewarm at best. The room phone didn’t work, and we found groups of dead gnats in several places. The beds are old and lumpy, and I booked a king bed but ended up with a full. The TV is tiny, and the whole place just feels worn out. The price was great, and I get the appeal — but in my opinion, you’re better off paying a little more for a place that’s clean, comfortable, and actually functional.

Wyndham rewards is a joke, they say they are the best rewards service available but they straight lied. We booked this hotel thinking it would be a nice change, it was ghetto from the start when the management tried to charge us but our rewards paid for the room. Then they put us on the 4th floor first room but the front elevator was broken so it took 10 minutes to get to the office from our room, then the tvs in the hotel are so small that I couldn't watch the entire trip bc I didn't have my glasses. It was just a huge disappointment bc I've always liked LA Quinta but this one is not a good place to stay. So I called wyndham rewards and wanted at least a partial refund on the points used so I could try and salvage our trip but they refused and completely dismissed my concerns. All in all I would not recommend wyndham rewards or this Laquinta nightmare.

The woman at the front desk was amazing — friendly, patient, and helpful, even when our key cards kept malfunctioning and she had to keep reprogramming them. Everyone we met was kind, which makes me feel bad leaving a poor review. But kindness doesn’t make up for the condition of this hotel. The building smells heavily of weed, and the rooms are full of issues. The single light switch controls every outlet and light, so you can’t charge your phone without keeping the lights on. The bathroom door doesn’t lock, the main doors stick, and the front elevator is broken — so you have to use the one in the back that sounds like it’s grinding against the walls. It’s honestly unsettling. The water pressure was weak, and the water never got hot — lukewarm at best. The phones in the room didn’t work, and there were dead gnats around the bathroom and nightstand. The outside area is poorly lit, and none of the back doors open, so you’re forced to go through the front every time. We booked a king bed but ended up with a full. The bed was lumpy, uncomfortable, and the TV was tiny. Between the cold showers, constant key issues, and the general lack of maintenance, it just wasn’t a pleasant stay. The price was definitely appealing, and I can see how that might make it worth it for some — but personally, I’d recommend spending a little more for somewhere clean, comfortable, and safe.
