I had to stay in a hotel for a few. I picked them because of the name and location. It was late and I was tired and my sciatica was horrible. They had 3 floors. Floor 1 and 2 was under renovation so floor 3 was it It is a non smoking hotel so I went down stairs having to walk the stairs every 2 hours to smoke. Me and my clothes that I brought smelled like smoke even my purse. The 2nd night my door stopped locking so they had to move me to another. They have not renovated that floor yet. They charged me 102.00 a night. I stayed 4 nights and when I checked out they charged me 250.00 for smoking in the 1st room I was in. I never smoked in my room. Even though I could barely walk, I took the stairs down every 2 hours to smoke. I'm sure that's on camera. Why would I do that if I was smoking in my room Also the young girl that was working that day I checked out I had seen 3 days there was the rudest person I have ever seen working front desk.very unfriendly. The 2 sisters that worked there were very sweet and helpful during my stay. But charging me for something I did not do. I feel like I am being punished for being a smoker.

××××UPDATE 9/12 **** After a month I finally received a refund for my deposit. My bank institution did not withhold any funds or hinder the process. This hotel establishment didn't create a refund until 21 days later, as stated..why did it take so long?? "We're sorry for the inconvenience, is there anything else we can fo for you? " That was the response. Inconvenience and unprofessional. Please save yourself the headache and find accommodations elsewhere. I believe my review has been deleted by the property however do not stay at this location find accommodations elsewhere it has been 4 weeks since my stay the room was dirty and it stunk I tried to turn on the TV however the TV and the TV remote were greasy and the TV was disconnected with a cable from the back I move the TV to find the cord to plug it in and behind the entertainment center there was trash there was food there was empty cans of foil paper with food in it! I checked out the next morning the front desk Personnel told me that my deposit which was $150, (a lot), would be refunded within 3 to 7 business days. It has been 4 weeks and I still have not received my deposit! I contacted La Quinta Inn Wyndham Resorts they made a reference number and I tried to reach out to the property management but no one answers the phone during the day or the night time! This issue is still unresolved I will update if and when it is resolved such an inconvenience find accommodations elsewhere!

Room smelled like dog pee as soon as we walked in, the pool was closed we had our kids who looked forward to swimming on our family vacation before they go back to school, we even packed extra clothes and stuff for them, and they couldn't be due to the pool being closed it looked like a swamp it was gross! On the website it clearly says there is a pool available but that is clearly a lie the sign in the lobby was hidden and you didn't know unless you went to the door that led to the pool that had a sign saying it was closed, they need to make it known online that the pool is out of service! Even the fitness center was closed! The elevator probably needs to be checked out some of the buttons were popped out and the door almost closed on my husband as he was walking through it, the door didn't even stop until it almost crushed him, there was a dog barking either next door or a few doors down from us that wouldn't stop barking even with it being 11/12 at night any little noise we made or did the dog would go off like crazy for 10 minutes. There are no vending machines on any of the upper levels you literally have to go to the lobby for snacks and beverages. No ice machines on any upper levels you have to go to main floor to get it. The parking lot looks like it has no lights on we made a comment to the front desk about it, but they said they were on just dimmed but compared to all the other hotels who had bright lighting outside when we pulled up it was dark we had to use our cell phones for lighting outside. Water pressure in the showers was pretty low so our showers took longer than they should have. The AC was on but in the middle of the night it would get hot for all of us and the room would be pretty stuffy my family wasn't happy at all.

After two nights/three days, this hotel was unable to provide key cards that could open my room. I consistently had to ask the front desk to open my room for me every time I arrived back at the hotel. I had a critically injured family member at the nearby hospital, and needed the room to work correctly for me and another family member. I cut short by five day reservation… and went to another hotel nearby with better service. Enough is enough.

The ladies at the receptionist desk were so so sweet and very helpful. My daughter and I stayed for two nights with our dogs and the rooms were very comfortable, cozy, and clean. I highly recommend staying here! We will be again on out next trip to Pasadena!
